The moment you said OMG bring tears in my eyes bcz the male singer of the song the legendary SP Balasubramanyam left us a couple of month ago due to the cobid 19 shit, he has such a pleasing voice and a style which is impossible for anyone to match, and he has sung over 40,000 songs for us

The sad truth behind Remix culture in India is that the Companies don't want to Pay Royalty money to Singers, Lyricists and musicians. And Tulsi Kumar can't sing sorry, She's just the co-owner of T-series.The vocal standards have dropped a lot in recent years in Bollywood. Arijit is probably the last good singer I can remember. Everyone else is limited or isn't getting opportunities (especially female singers).

Indian singing legends are very much different than one in foreign countries bcz these are the singers who have recorded 30,000 songs someone has recorded 50,000 songs, etc.
Not just bollywood singers. Other Indian singers too. K J Yesudas (from kerala) has recorded over 80,000 songs of genres in 15+ different Indian and foreign languages in his 50 years career. He also has the highest number of national awards for best male playback singer (eight awards for three languages-Malayalam,Telugu and Hindi) . He sang 16 film songs in Four 'different' South Indian languages on the same day too.

That too more than 90% songs by my favourite singers Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu. There are still thousands of songs which i have not even heard.

@@Fidah do you also sometimes like i do think which 28 songs they may be, might bcz according to me there are many songs of his which deserves a best male playback singer, like when he created this record in 1993 he won it for one of my all favourites by him 'Sochenge tumhe pyar' from deewana movie the same movie has songs like 'tere dard se dil' and 'teri umeed tera intezaar' by him which both are second to none and for me very much favourite bcz divya bharti is my favourite Bollywood actress of all time so these songs make me very emotional, just same in other movies too like ashiqui whose almost every song deserve an award according to me, such a great singer he is. I am lucky that i am a fan of him.

Best part of those songs was that many of the song were sung in more than one version like udja kale kawan tere from gadar was sung by Udit Narayan solo, Udit Narayan and alka yagnik both, child version too was there and one song is sung by more than one singer like pardesi pardesi from raja hindustani by Udit Narayan and than it's second version comes in the movie by Kumar Sanu.

These are generational artists...their families have been studying music for centuries.
This song was written almost 700+ years ago by Amir Khusrow for his spiritual master Nizamuddin Auliya.
Approximately 40 years ago a dargha in Pakistan echoed with the sound of this traditional qawwali performed in an epic collaboration by the MAESTROS, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan - Rahat's uncle and Ghulam Farid Sabri - Amjad's father.
This was recorded before Amjad's tragic killing and released after his death and as a coke studio performance , it was one of those rare performance which was recorded in first take and was Amjad's first and last performance in coke studio.
