It has been reported that Barron declined his appointment to the Florida delegate! Barron was mostly raised by his mother and her parents. All four of them speak Slovenian with each other, and were very close before the grandma transitioned recently. Donald was never smart enough to learn Slovenian, so he was left out of much in Barron's raising.

He and his mom have refused the delegation appointment over a week ago. I'm hoping Barron is the black sheep of the family and isn't as terrible as the rest of his immediate family. He should realistically stay out of the spotlight. I expect more professionalism, even if just publicly, out of the leaders in power that control the US and its individual states. It affects me to know that the right-wing madhouse has been given dangerous false hope to the point that it escalates the insanity of the left to have to respond. The fact that people like Marjorie Taylor Greene is as powerful as she is in congress is a testament to my point. Her own party has no spine to stand up for themselves against crazies like her.

Odd that an 18 year old kid would be considered a delegate. Yes, he is really still just a kid. Just beause he's of "legal" age doesn't mean he instantly gains wisdom on his birthday by osmosis. He doesn't have enough life experience yet to be in such a position. It's also not a good idea to promote someone as a delegate who is the relative of a major politician. It's better to draw from the average citizenship for delegates. What does a rich kid know about average Amerians' needs and lives? I'd think that understanding those issues would be the number one prerequisite to being a delegate.
