had a bike crash the late eighties and was im coma for 7 or 11 days. Parents sittin beside my bed in hospital and playin music to make me wake up again. THIS was the song I opened my eyes listening to ! So Dio saved my feakin life

Being a black kid in the 80s I love my old school rap, but when you hear a great voice such as Dio's you must recognize talent and his lyrics are truly something else. He's come a long way from the doo wop days. A talent that will surely be missed. Rest in peace my friend.

Honestly we never saw color in each other but man what a wild ass rock freak he was 😂 was always a hoot on Friday which was payday. Charles walk in and buy 4 cassettes all rock 😂 man I miss those days when it was all so simple

Me hear at 20 yrs old raised right wilth good moral values and a fairly competent brain that’s able to realize Dio is the best heavy metal/ rock vocalist of all time, listen everyday of the week otw to work, he just massages the brain with power and peace at the same time, like no other, so diverse, forever one of a kind, Rest In Peace, forever legend ahead of time all together.
I also listen to dio when I was 16 ... and since then I'm still there 😎🎸

Killer song and a brilliant video. This video shows the crap I went through in my senior year of high school and I had no girlfriend. My senior year of high school was the one and only time I saw Dio live and he took me away from nasty bullshit for one night and gave me A CONCERT I'LL NEVER FORGET! 1996 ANGRY MACHINES TOUR!
My childhood was really bad.While I was a teen my so called father would beat the hell out of me just to be doing it. He was an abusive prick. The mother person would sit and watch it happen. I was going to kill myself one night. I had the razer to my wrist when this song was played on a neighbors stereo.. I thought it was talking about me. This song saved my life.

RIP Ronnie James. This was one of my favorite songs growing up. My Dad had this album and I used to listen to this over and over and over again. Dio is immortalized by his amazing music.

One of the greatest songs of my youth - I was born in 1970. It still reminds me of someone very special from the 80s. Dio's lyrics and his voice are still killing it for me after over four decades. I dare anyone on this planet to do better than that.

Dio said he wrote because he learned that many of his fans were youngsters who had trouble in their lives. He then understood how important rock n roll was to them and wrote this song as a tribute to that generation
