This honestly looks so much fun. The final blow is a really cool detail.
I've only just started MH World this week and have 40+ hours played already, and this game looks amazing. I'm really hopeful that there'll be a lot of different Kemono to hunt, the designs look fascinating and I hope they can fill the game with many diverse creatures that reach that same level of design. The weapons are also a huge draw for me, and I'm really hoping to see some kind of transforming heavy weapon (like the switch axe).
I hope they have an open public beta. I want to feel how the game plays. The monsters look cool.

I'm interested to see how this fares as a MH competitor. So far what's most interesting is the monsters. Hunts feel different though and initiailly I felt the building was weird but now I'm more confident in how seamless it looks. Overall I'd probably try it.
It's nice to see a new entry in the hunting space, cant wait to see the character customization. 👍🏿👍🏿

Rise could use a gigantic monster like this. With the wirebug movement, getting on into different parts of monsters is gonna add a lot of fun factor to the game.

@Death Inquisitor I highly doubt Capcom/ the MH devs care. They will take what is best and discard the rest. All devs borrow ideas from one another.
Based on the gameplay right now it reminds me of a mix between Nioh and Monster Hunter

Yep Umbrella is definitely the heir to the Naginata from Toukiden. Parries, Aerial Style, Multi-Hits as you get your gauge up. It's all still there.
Unless there's a proper non-Katana based successor to the Chain Whip then Umbrella gonna be my Main.

Others weapons are morph staff that can become 5 different weapons, a maul (hammer), a nodachi. 8 weapons in total, we don't know about the last 2. Won't be surprised to see the kusarigama again from Toukiden

Honestly kingtusk reminds me of the leader of the boars from princess mononoke. I'm about it for now but gatta see more weapon types.
You know what would be cool? Is if they add it to where you can unlock other finishers for when you beat a monster

100% i just know what EA/Toukiden gameplay feels like...it's going to feel hollow in a lot of ways. hope I'm wrong. Great for MH content creators though who are running dry on Sunbreak material
Not really. The monster hunter community will immediately buy into it since they love games like this. Trust me this will have a huge release on release day, if not here then in japan where this are the most popular genre of games.
@@tadakatsu123456 nah, God Eater wasn’t that big of a hit and other Mh like games too. Plus, the doubt the community has since its from EA. Don’t get me wrong, I like the concept and all of W.Hearts but will definitely hold before buying it. But as a video game enthusiast, I would like this to be successful as much as I want MH to always strive with every title.
@@KyoryuGaming Yeah but the only people that bitch and complain about AAA games cuz its edgy and cool to do that are westerners. Japan doesn't care about that shit so the release will be big there if they do it right. Toukiden pretty much came to the west for the sole reason of being very well sold in japan. In this case EA shouldnt think about the west too much cuz they are cry babies and focus their ads at japan mainly.

Games looks really good but there is a lot we still don't know and the release is due in a month. Will there be multiple biome ? how many monsters in total ? Is there an end game etc. Can't say the marketing is really good, unless there is a delay planned ...

I'm very much like what I'm seeing, my only small thing I think they should change or an option is camera distance, seems it be quite annoying when up close to the monster and having it right behind you it kinda takes away the spacial awareness aspect, but other than that I'm keeping an eye on this one.

If you could ask about the devs making a punching/kicking weapon? The only two Monster Hunter-like games I've ever seen with anything close to that was Dauntless and I think an older game called Yokai? I could be wrong with that second one, but if you could ask them, that would at least make this followers day.
I have never played a Monster Hunter game but I *REALLY* wanna play Wild Hearts. Can't quite put my finger on it but this one is speaking to me, well it's actually kind of screaming at me but I like it :)

Hmmm... I don't quite understand the purpose of the parasol... i would think it's more of a defense weapon or tank class but all the splash dmg, pierce dmg and aerial combo makes me confuse... lol So far katana looks great tho!

This just feels like a Boss rush mode where you only fight bosses but is dragged on by soooooo long distances. Endemic life and more environment interactions can make it better tho

Yeah its kinda hard to feel the exploration experience is so few since MHW really set the standard in that department, but im just glad that theres a new monster hunting genre again haha

Monster hunter games are boss rush.
The visual is impressive and gameplay is fresh, but it still pretty "clunky" and need to be more polished, some animations for example and the environment collision/interaction (how that huge boar creates no wave when running in the water while player does?), from what I see, it doesn't have the feel of responsive weapon hit - it's so floaty like any MMO hack&slash game, not comparable to MH, it even somewhat lacking in responsive compare to something like Horizon Zero Dawn/God of war.
It also doesn't give the feel of technical/methodical combat like MH games (even compare to Toukiden, GE too), it's more like casual fun in killing huge siege boss when you can just blindly smash buttons and going for what they 100% pointed "This is weakpoint, come and hit it", "it's huge, but it's a punch bag" , hope there are more imitating monsters that make the game a bit more hardcore and make you really improve your skills

Im a fan of monster hunter gameplay style (i dont know the genre's name), but one thing about monster hunter i dont like is the clunkiness, i want fast slice, dedicated hit, something like that, really high hope for this game

Kinda rough for this game that it is releasing around the same time as Rise for consoles. I don't have time for 2 big monster hunt games with all the other stuff coming out in January through March.
If you waited long enough for rise to come to console, you can wait a whole lot longer. At least that’s my course of action.
@@chu_tonight I own a switch I just dont like the button layout. Rise is definitely a safer bet since people already know it is good. This year has proven that very few companies can pull off a genre unless they are the company that founded that genre.
@@demonintellect9834 hey yeah I have a switch too played rise on there with a pro controller feels great! Rise will always have a player base but waiting for a Wild Hearts sale and not having anyone to play with is a gamble if multiplayer is what you’re looking for. At least that’s what I like about monster hunting games, the multiplayer lol
