I miss watching ATLA for the very first time, it was magical. It was beyond anything I've ever felt before, emotionally. I miss being a kid. Whenever I watch that show it's like my inner child never left me and is still there with me comforting me, reminding me of what it was like back then. Back when I didn't have a single worry in the world.

As a kid I never watched TV consistently enough to follow the story but I still loved it. I'm almost 20 and just finished watching it for a second time since it got put on Netflix. Watching the finale again I realized how each character has at least one moment that perfectly displays their growth. I can not express how much I love this show.

@@LightnessOfTheLife He's saying the opposite. When you let your animalistic instincts (e.g. despair) constantly get the better of you, you show lack of inner strength. Because once you realize what it is that drives you, you must gain control over those instincts and consciously counteract them with positivity, i.e. hope.

I've had growing insomnia symptoms well over 10 years now. Lofi is great for decreasing that night time panic of possibly never being able to sleep again lol.
Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the lofi music played. Only the avatar, master of all four instruments, could keep it playing. But when the world needed him most, he sat back and vibed.

2022 is approaching, and I've never been able to be so confident with myself, i moved out, started collage, and even got a part time job, i am so thankful to everyone in my life and all my amazing memories of amazing people, i will never forget watching this amazing show, i plan on rewatching it soon, the memories of joy from my childhood bring a smile to my face, i love you all and everyone in my life that's molded me into the person i am today, thank you.

Probably everyone has seen the meme that's going around about how Zuko, Sokka, Katara and Toph taught them one thing. But every one forgets that Aang taught us that there is always another way even if it isn't clear in the beginning. I just thought that I should remind everyone of that.
27 years old working 55 hours weekly to get by and attempt to get ahead. Nothing feels right, except going out of my way to find content like this. I'm so happy this got released on Netflix. I was born too late to experience it on live tv and honestly I didn't know it existed but now that I've watched it its one of my all time favorite shows. thank you Netflix for letting this 2007 kid experience this masterpiece of a show.

Man, I can not express how much I'm loving this. This is just perfection. As perfection is the world of Avatar. These days I'm rewatching the show and I'm feeling stupid admitting how many times I found myself crying during the rewatch, realizing how much impact Avatar had on my life. It's just that all the fantasy stories I consumed as a child had this bitter side in them, which was the awareness that they were not real and that even in their fictional worlds there were people not "chosen" who didn't get the magic, but get the ordinary and ordinary was not good, let's be honest (just think about Filch or the other non-wizards in Harry Potter). And then Avatar came, and yes, there are the benders but holy crap think about Sokka, how smart and full of igenious he is, THINK ABOUT SUKI AND THE KYOSHI WARRIORS, I was just blown away but this diverse cast, they were all so different and yet unique and amazing in their own way.
Now I'm 23, I have a bachelor in aerospace engineering and I'm trying to get my master degree, and holy shit if that is difficult. These days I'm feeling so... tired...
And then I started the rewatch and there they were: AIRBENDERS, a bunch of veg monks who like to play with air and eat far too many sweets and have a not so good sense of humor, and I was like... THEY'RE TOTALLY ME. I mean, I just realized how much this story has shaped my life and my convictions. When my grandfather was dying I was in a really bad place, it was my last year of the bachelor and I felt like my world was falling apart and I remember whispering to myself Iroh's words: "In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself", and I didn't remember this came from this show, I just realized this during the rewatch. How amazing is this? A show I watched as a little girl helped me through my worst time and I didn't even knew it, this is something I believe only poetry could do - pop up when you need even if you don't remember where it came from - and yet...
I don't know what I'm trying to say, maybe I just want to convince everybody to watch Avatar, maybe I'm just scared of the Numerical Analysis exam and I'm going mad...
Maybe I'm just realizing that I don't need to change the wind with a movement of my arm to be an airbender. There's this episode in the first season where refugees have found shelter in the air temple and Aang thinks about them, about the fact that they have the right to be there, if they treat the world with respect they too can be airbenders.

I had always seen commercials and maybe a couple misc. episodes here and there, when i was younger of ATLA, and never got into it. As i got older, i would see fan art and edits from the show and slowly began loving the imagery, yet still i had never watched it, but just recently (age 22 now) had finished the series for the first time and Iâm actually surprised how much I loved it. The story as a whole is so good and I canât wait to rewatch it and find even more details I may have missed the first time! I loved reading everything you said about it :)))

The thing about Iroh is that he is so well respected that very few people are willing to masquerade as him on CZcams. People like jedi masters from Star Wars, or old historical figures and past leaders people masquerade as all the time. But Iroh? Who can confidently speak as Iroh would in CZcams comment sections? It's difficult. Very difficult. Staying so central on all issues, with a solid moral compass, and a calm and genuinely helpful personality, who can compare? We love you Iroh, thank you for helping the characters of Avatar, because along the way you've helped all of us as well.

This is beautiful I've listened to it many times before and each time it fills me with an incredible sensation, like flying above the clouds on Appa's back with the rest of the gaang. Avatar: The Last Airbender will always be one of my very favorite shows, it taught me things I needed to know and gave me inspiration, peace, and happiness. Aang inspired me to start meditating and I love it, it brings such peace to clear your mind. I know bending isn't real and neither are these incredible characters, but to me the adventures of Aang, Katara, Sokka and Toph will always be true. This world will always live in my imagination and in my heart. Thank you for your incredible music this one especially reminds me of the Avatar series with every note played as well as brings me back to the time when I dreamed that I was an airbender living with the rest of the hidden air nomads in the mountains, adding on my own episode when the gaang discovers us (well actually I still dream of that I suppose lol).

This makes me want to join the Gaangs ride on Appa's back while Sokka messes around with his boomerang, Toph roasts all of them, Zuko awkwardly tries to be part of the Gaang, Suki saves the day, Katara learns new waterbending tricks, Momo just chills and Aang ..... Aang airbends his marbels and talks continuously about the monks.

Every character teaches us something no matter from where if they are well written we will understand their journey and become attached to those characters I personally feel the most connected to sokka and zuko's stories
Although I never had an iroh to guide me I understand and feel what zuko went through not being accepted by your own family my mother never burned me literally but emotionally I never felt close to her when I was younger I would try and make her proud but still to this day I never heard her say that she is actually genuinely proud of me it was always in her tone. Now she yells and insults me when I don't react she says im awful just like my father and a sociopath but no after treating me like nothing for years im desensitized to her actions.
While with sokka I really got attached to his character because I've always used comedy to cope with my problems but because of that everyone around me seems to forget that im not all humour and jokes.
That's just why i feel attached to these characters I have many more reasons
And that's why that show is one of my favourites the stories and characters feel so real I never cry on movies or shows but iroh's song made me cry

I just rewatched the series for like the 12th time. Itâs always so bittersweet when itâs over. ATLA is the best community out there.
It has been my 4th time watching Avatar the Last Airbender, and I love it each time I watch it. I want to be with them so bad, and I feel an emptiness that is completed by this show. I just have a connection with them, and a longing to be with them every moment I can. ATLA will always have my heart. Thank you for taking me on so many journeys and adventures, and teaching me so much about life. Now for a quote from Iroh " Sick of tea? That's like being sick of breathing!"

No expectations, no idea what it was about, no preconceived notions, no previous experience, just you and the show for the very first time once more. Imagine what it would be like to have all those splendid feelings and emotions come back as the story progressed and you got more and more invested in each character, each moment, as if you were there. I'd give anything to experience that once more, for the very first time...

Ngl listened to this many times but this is just amazing you capture the feeling of the entire show and give us those feelings back its amazing. Its like a time machine taking so many people back into the good old days when you would sit down right after school and watch some avatar, if it was on the weekend you can watch extra episodes! Me and my siblings watched it so many times over, and we watched it with our parents, you would expect them to be on there phones or something but, no the would pay attention I was always confused on that and never really understood, now I'm only around 8-9 years older then when i was back then It has made an everlasting impact on my life and it makes me want to have good Morales and treat everyone with kindness and respect. Now that I am older then when I was I understand why my parents were just as interested as me watching the show, the show had much more than cool powers as it also had the best character development in any show or movie I've ever watched and heard of. I asked my parents what they thought of the show and they said that it wasn't just a kid show but had so many messages that are hidden deep in the show.Now I understand what they were; the pain, happiness,love,sadness,anger,forgiveness, striving to be better, ambitious, seeking redemption , trying to better yourself, redeeming your honor even if it wasn't the way you expected it, finding your own way, It taught me that we are all connected. It just takes us all back. Back to when I was in the shower water bending as the water dripped from the tips of my fingers, or fire bending with a red blanket the time spent with siblings laughing having fun. It takes us further. Further to when zukos cool scare turned into zukos pain and a n everlasting painful drive to seek redemption, even though he was seeking the wrong redemption, it takes us further to when cool water bending and ice turned into terrifying blood bending, and knowing the pain of being in a place that is tough but you must keep going forward. It takes us back to when we sat in front of the TV right after school not a care in the world, right at 3:08 when the doors open weather it was getting on the bus, or your parents coming to pick you up or you walked the anticipation and excitement for watching the show you would shake your legs in the bus or car and was constantly looking out the window seeing if you were home, waiting to immerse yourself in the world of avatar. An escape. A door from this world to the next. Nothing around you at the time really mattered. Watching avatar until the next show would be called. Then back to playing and being happy. Its almost as if even now when all this stuff is going on there is still that same door to escape to the world of avatar. The door to distract us from this world now, the time machine to take us back to the happiness and being naive. Its almost like listening to this is the door or the time machine, as I close my eyes I remember playing with my siblings, I remember shaking in my chair waiting to get home, I remember my friends, toph, aang, zuko, katara, sokka,iroh, suki and more, I remember how they welcomed me into there world, and although I may have understood all of the feelings I felt it didn't matter because I felt them. Now when re watching we feel those feelings and understand them. Thank you Simon Grob for well helping me find my way again, thank you for making me cry , and thank you for returning these beautiful memories to me. No matter how far apart we may seem we are all in this together. I will no indulge again in the beautiful memories with a new perspective and a more understanding approach not only on the show but in life and I wish you do the same. Once again Thank you Avatar, Simon Grob, and thank you life it may seem bad right now but look around and appreciate that you got to experience these memories and feelings.

I can't stop thinking of this show. Never saw it growing up but just recently finished watching it as an adult. This show is special. It didn't hold back the wisdom and depth because it was a kid's show. I cried many times throughout, especially for Zuko.

When ATLA came out I was in a rough time in my life. Years of abuse were making me angry, hateful. I lashed out at those who cared about me. Seeing this group of kids who had all suffered so much find joy in each other and the adventures they shared made me want to better.
I'm listening to this now as I write an essay for my last semester of college before I go on to teach. My cat is in my lap, my bestfriend is sleeping on our couch in the living room of the home we found together, my boyfriend is on his way with tasty food. Life is better, life is good.

When I watched the show, it was completely different than what I thought it would be. I am so happy I gave it a shot thoughđ
I am so grateful to be alive today. My girlfriend saved my life last night. This is a selfie I took in the emergency room after having a severe allergic reaction to almonds. I went into anaphylaxis, meaning my face, my lips, my eyes, my tongue, and my throat all started swelling up rapidly, making it almost impossible for me to breathe. I also had a rash all over my entire body, and I was extremely red. Staying alive had never felt more difficult. At one point, my nasal passage was completely blocked, and it was getting more and more difficult to breathe. They shot me up with Benadryl, steroids, they gave me a breathing tube, and even other stuff that I canât even remember, and it caused all of the swelling and the rash to go away. Because this was a severe allergic reaction, I need to continue taking steroids and Benadryl for the next week, because it is possible that the allergic reactions could come back at any point over the next week. The steroids and Benadryl make me feel like a zombie, and I really want to take care of my health, so this will be my main focus over the next week. I want to thank my amazing girlfriend, who made the decision to take me to the emergency room the second I started feeling itchy. I was hesitant about going, because I didnât even want to believe this was actually happening. If it werenât for my girlfriend driving me to the emergency room only minutes after eating the almonds, there is a good chance that I wouldnât have made it according to the doctor. This has been without a doubt the hardest few days of my life, but I also look at them as the most important few days of my life. These moments have reminded me about whatâs really important in life, and it has made me so grateful to even be here on this earth. I will be prioritizing my health over the next week, and Iâll post updates about how I feel. Thank you all for being patient during these difficult times. This week has been NUTS (too soon for jokes? đ )

I used to listen to this while I was doing work and hadn't finished ATLA yet. I can't bring myself to watch ATLA clips or anything related to it because it makes me sad. I clicked on this and when it started playing I immediately got nostalgic. I just finished avatar but I watched it when I was super little and it makes me sad to know it is over. I wish I could experience it all over again, like watching it for the first time. The music is incredible by the way, keep it up.
