This interview broke my heart. I live in Jacksonville. I wish I knew he was going thru this he could have came to my house to stay. He's 2 yrs older than my son. I can't imagine. I'm glad he has enough courage to speak out.

I couldn't stop myself from listening to this interview. I pray that you continue the road that you are now on. Please protect him, Father God. Send him Angels. The trauma that he and his siblings have dealt with is so sad. What's making me angry is that his mom seems to be trying to be in the spotlight by talking against her son. She's upset because he told the truth about their dysfunctional family and how she was so abusive. I think she needs to step back and stay in her place and allow him to have this. He's gone through enough because of her.

Maybe they can't air that because it mentions about Jesus. Idk. I wouldn't have had the wine out during the interview but water or tea maybe. I wanted to hear about him getting saved also so I skipped thru..I never watch her videos. I only clicked on it because of John and I wanted to hear him tell of his salvation. He has others interviews with others where he does speak of it. So google for him and you will find his story of salvation.😊

We need to normalize talking about mommy issues. It’s taboo for men especially to express negative feelings about their moms, but people are quick to say “my daddy wasn’t sh*t.” What about mom tho? “She did the best she could.” And story sounds just like this. Doesn’t doing the best they could go both ways? Shouldn’t your best involve more than providing financially? I don’t even look at womanizers and self haters how I used to, because so many of them have serious mommy issues when you hear their stories. There’s something especially disorienting about the parent that’s supposed to nurture, comfort, and protect you violently and verbally abusing you throughout your childhood. I appreciate this conversation a lot.

It’s crazy no one ever wanted to tell him how to get his own money. So sad
Hearing that he thought his mom was going to kill him and listening to how terrified he was, broke my heart.
Not to make this about me but I remember one time when I was about 4-6 years old, I was super attached to my mom & somehow my grandma and her brother convinced me to ride with them instead of my my and dad, we were all going the same place.
My grandma was never an affectionate or comforting source in my life but she was consistent and caring and never hurt me emotionally or physically.
Anyways, I think because of the anxiety of not riding with my mom, I started to imagine the conversation my grandma and her brother were having during the car ride was actually them talking about killing me and eating me (I know super weird).
That ride was scary and traumatic and it was truly just a figment of my imagination - completely unreasonable, but it was 1000% real to me & to this day it’s one of few memories I have of childhood.
So just thinking of how horrible I felt when I was around someone that never hurt me, just from a thought I had basically fabricated; I can’t even imagine his anxiety and fear and pure angst that he dealt with at the young age from someone he thought was capable of killing him.

This is crazy how so many of us have similar trauma stories. I remember my sister plotting to kill my mom when she was like 9 or 10years old.
