Your discussion regarding activated charcoal and it being evidence based and it being used in ancient times is misleading.
Firstly, something being done in ancient times is not evidence of truth. It’s only evidence of its use.
Secondly, the scientific literature indicates that it can remove surface stains. Stains on your teeth can be intrinsic or extrinsic. Intrinsic stains lie on the dentin, a layer underneath your enamel. Extrinsic stains are on the surface of the enamel.
Because of the porous nature of dentin, intrinsic stains tend to stick strongly to your teeth. To get to intrinsic stains under the solid enamel, you need to remove part of the enamel or use bleaching agents that get under it. These treatments can be done only at dental clinics.
On the other hand, extrinsic stains can be removed by brushing, toothpastes, professional cleaning by your dentist, and some chemical treatments. The claims made by charcoal use is yet to be backed up with enough trials or data to be true.
In fact we have more reasons to be cautious of using its use:
Thinning enamel. When you use activated charcoal toothpaste, your teeth may look whiter at first. But after continued use, your teeth may start looking more yellow. If this happens, it’s because the activated charcoal has worn down your enamel and revealed the dentin layer of your teeth.
More surface roughness. In a lab test, researchers found that activated charcoal powder on its own increased the surface roughness of teeth and even changed the enamel surface. The study also showed that activated charcoal powder didn’t whiten teeth. It’s easier for bacteria to cling to your teeth if the surface area is rough, raising your risk of cavities and gum disease.
Tooth powders are abrasive. In general, tooth powders can be five times more abrasive than toothpastes because of the abrasive materials used, as well as the size of their particles.

No, Activated charcoal does not remove stains from your teeth / whitens them. it's abrasive, meaning that you're basically like cutting out the stain of a shirt instead of chemically treating it. use hydrogen peroxide strips and listen to people who know what they're saying.

@@Marv0712 It depends on how you use it. You can use its abrasive properties to your advantage by using it to remove stains, but using it too much, too frequently, or too aggressively may result in long term tooth enamel damage.
Being absrasive isn’t the equivalent of cutting out a clothing stain. It’s more so scrubbing it away, but not too hard, to remove the stain while also keeping the protective outer layer intact.

Charcoal does not whiten your teeth. It’s an illusion due to a dark color that temporarily stains your teeth, hiding the yellow.
I have a better solution though, use those little purple candy tables that are used for spotting plaque. Chew a half piece, and the purple will mask the yellow stain for a while, making your teeth appear white. (Purple is the opposite of yellow). The only other way to really whiten your teeth is to use zoom, gel or white strips.

laboratory generated activated charcoal leeches arsenic if it hasn't been rinsed first - typically it is sold unrinsed. I recommend getting the coconut shell activated charcoal to avoid the problem of introducing arsenic into your body.
I'm someone who can't grow a beard and I'm better off without it. I'm Asian, I powerlift but I have a skinny frame, and I have a very feminine face. If I grow out my facial hair, I will look like someone who can't wipe his own ass. Don't be pressured by not growing a beard if you think you won't even look good in it. Minoxidil needs to be used continuously for at least a year to turn temporary hair to permanent hair. After that you can stop using it.
