Does the Expobar look better in person..?

Hey rob, Well, it's built like a tank. Very thick metal but not the finishing details (or higher price) of competing machines.

Do you think upgrading to an ecm technika V from exobar?

Hi CA, Not sure which Expobar machine you have. If a dual boiler Brewtus then maybe not an upgrade beyond aesthetics.

@@Wholelattelovepage hi. yes i have the expobar barista minore IV. i think it’s the same as the brewtus. I had it serviced, and is it normal to have the steam boiler heating element replaced after 3 years?
Thank you. and is this machine worthy of keeping than upgrading to a technika or lelit bianca v2? :)
What other modifications can i do with my expobar that you can suggest.
Thank you so much. Really love your channel

Both machines looks inside like self made devices not like professional product of big companies done in XXI century.

Hi N, Hmm... These machines are hand assembled by skilled craftsman. I personally prefer that over automated/robotic factory made plastic appliances. When they break they go in the garbage. These machines can go for decades and are very user-serviceable.

What did you expect them to look like? They are espresso machines, they pump hot water places. Big, copper boiler, a heating element, and some pipes. Both these machines had beautiful plumbing imo. Good luck finding those electronics or the fine tolerances one these pieces of kit before ~1900. Manufacturing of this standard in very recent.

I expected more tidiness inside in pipes and cables. Thermal insulation of Expobar looks like home made. ECM is bit better.
