    Great video. That film can really take a stretch. I appreciate how detailed you explain things. Meticulous work. 👍🏼

    Hey Eric, I love the fact that you work alone.
    Peeling the ppf of and laying it by yourself is perfect.
    Your video's are straight to the point, well done.
    I struggled with the mirrors and rear bumper on a 2021 Toyota Prado.
    If you have done one would you mind sharing the link.
    Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

    Thanks for these videos! I put out similar content for vinyl wraps and it’s nice to see someone doing this for ppf!!

      Thanks for the kind words! I admire and respect vinyl wrappers! It takes a unique skill set that I don’t have to master that art haha!

    Nice freehand job, very clean. I haven't done an install in over 10 years and I'm interested to work with these newer films. I used to work mostly with 3M because all other films were still in the "infant" stages. Please let me know what film you recommend using and also curious to know which software program you use. Thanks. Again, nice work.

      Thank you for the kind words. In this video I was using XPEL Ultimate Plus PPF. XPEL has a great cutting software called DAP (Design Access Program) that is top notch with patterns. SunTek is also a great film and their cutting software Core is really good from what I hear as well.

    Love to see you work! Do you like pre-cuts better than bulk or vice Versa ?

    • @DriveProtected
      @DriveProtected  Před 2 lety +1

      For the most part I’ll take pre-cuts over bulk but for a panel like this, I’ll take bulk.

      You make it look so easy, I would’ve had 15 creases in it. Lol

  • @Beyondspotlessauto
    @Beyondspotlessauto Před 2 lety +1

    Another nice one, i have to agree damn u make it look so easy!..when do you know you stretched it enough? will the film ever tear or get compromised with too much stretch?

    • @DriveProtected
      @DriveProtected  Před 2 lety

      Thanks! The film has 60% stretch before it can no longer retract into original form and I’ve never gotten anywhere near that.

    Why cut the recording before completion?? The finishing details are the same or even more important than the field work.

    • @DriveProtected
      @DriveProtected  Před rokem

      We cut the recording because most people don't watch to the end, and I have covered finishing work in many other videos.
