Cambridge Street Collective - Drone TOUR

I knew from seeing the pictures of the building online months prior to this, that it had extreme fly through potential.
So when I was asked about creating a video I knew it would take some planning and had to show off most of the space and vendors without repeating itself.
We planned to film on the monday but nothing inside was complete. But it was sunny and calm so we got the shot coming into the building filmed. Tuesday was also a no go. We set our sights on 14:00 on the wednesday. When I arrived it looked like we would not be able to get this as workers and vendors were still frantically rushing to get the place ready for the VIP launch that night. I went about cleaning and moving things that were in shot for a few hours. I also walked the flight route about 4 times to get the route nailed down so when it was time to fly I would not hesitate.
At 16:20 I managed to keep cleaners outside and workers away with literally 10 mins to get the interior shot as everyone was rushing to get this done.
The first pack I flew was a fail. A vendor walked down the stairs and I had one peeking at the drone. I tried again and got too close to a table. I can't have that in a video. I have to get the perfect flight so with the same battery I returned to the start point and I could hear people trying to get inside to continue work. I just zoned them out and concentrated on getting the shot as this would be my last and only chance. Apart from one guy getting past to walk up the stairs it went well. I just had to fly up the stairs and not lose signal and I was done. The final shot was easy. Slight rain almost hindered it but I managed to film it. Rush home to get an edit done and return to join the VIP party as I wanted some Michies pizza!
I really enjoyed this one and the client was super happy with it which is all that matters in the end.
