Anti-Gun NJ Assemblyman Makes Disgusting Comments Proving How Racist Gun Control Is

  • NJ John F McKeon Gun Control
    bit.ly/2CHLudt
What you will hear in the video is New Jersey Assemblyman John F. McKeon essentially saying, "I don't want poor black people to have the right to carry guns in New Jersey."
During the New Jersey Judiciary hearing on the gun control bill (A4769), he said this:
“Do you really… Do either of you… Does anybody really want to put more guns in the hands of people that live in Patterson and Newark and Elizabeth and Camden to say here oh the money you're charging isn't fair. That'll make things safer. Please!”
    He named 4 cities:
Paterson, New Jersey is 25.71% black with a poverty rate of 25.15%,
Newark, New Jersey is 49.54% black with a poverty rate of 25.16%.
Elizabeth, New Jersey is 20.04% black with a poverty rate of 15.17% and
Camden, New Jersey is 42.48% black with a poverty rating of 33.60%.
Anyone want to take a guest what percentage of John F. McKeon district is black?
12.9% black with a poverty rate of 4.5%.
He didn’t mention the affluent areas when saying, “Do you really want to put more guns in the hands of people that live here?”
His statement proves that this bill is unconstitutional in that it was designed to discriminate against people of a lower economic status who want to get a concealed carry license.
He said it himself, if this bill is not passed, this would mean there will be more people, i.e. poor black people, in Paterson, Newark, Elizabeth, and Camden carrying guns, so we need to pass this bill to prevent THOSE people from being able to afford the license.
But his initial statements don't only prove this bill is unconstitutional; this next statement from him proves he doesn't care if it's unconstitutional:
“Coming up with reasonable regulation, I can’t guarantee that it will be constitutional at all.”
Later, he said, “ Man, we've got to vote what we feel. If Nothing else you have to respect that because that’s how I feel”
John F. McKeon is an elite, but these are the same people trying to tell you that you shouldn't be able to own a gun much less carry one.

When I was young and naive, I thought politicians who said things like this were just unaware of how poor people lived and would say things like "they should be forced to spend a month living in these places."
Since then I've learned that they're fully aware of how poor people live. They just don't care what happens to them.

When I met my best friend he was a lead avionics technician and his wife was a nurse working on getting her pharmacy degree. Through bad luck they both developed chronic and severe health problems and are no longer able to work. Both went on disability and lost the home that they'd raised their children in. Their income is now so small that trailer parks look like gated communities to them.
Guess what kind of neighborhood they have to live in now?
Guess what a criminal thinks when he sees a middle aged couple who both use walkers?
Guess what hoops they have to jump through to even purchase a firearm let alone carry one?
If they could magically make every last gun vanish from the face of the earth, do you think these two disabled middle aged people would be any safer when facing a single healthy twenty year old with ill intent?
What in the hell is wrong with our legislature?

@@songsthatarecatchy This is what I don't like about the Republican party/policy. They're generally pretty good when it comes to some rights, like speech and 2A, but are openly hostile to the others like the right to pursue happiness however one see's fit, the right to ingest whatever one wants, the right to privacy, etc. Though they aren't the only ones; aside from cannabis becoming legal in many states those same states are just as draconian on other drugs as red states are so it really a federal issue in my eyes.
Libertarians (party) are better on some of these issues but they're also starting to use a lot of woke language so that scares me off, lol.
But yeah, my only trepidation with moving to a deep red state is the continued adherence to failed drug war policies that cause far more harm than all drugs combined ever could. If we were mature about drug use and recognize you cannot legislate it away we wouldn't have a fentanyl epidemic killing thousands per year. We wouldn't be handing a market worth hundreds of billions annually to some of the most savage criminals on the planet (Mexican cartels) and wouldn't have war zones in our inner cities over drug turf. We'd be capturing that revenue that could be used to subsidize healthcare, create more rehab centers, etc and create jobs in the process. Empowering said cartels also further de-stabilizes Central America, leading to more and more illegal migration to the US.
Some very powerful people must be making a fortune on keeping the drug war alive as it's easily the most destructive policy going right now. You'd think we'd have learned our lesson with alcohol prohibition a century ago, but no, we just keep doubling-down and lighting money on fire to fight a war against nature that can never be won. It's just so childish...

    • @alancranford3398

Does "it's easier to beg forgiveness than to ask permission" apply to murder? At the moment, half of murders go unsolved (that means someone is arrested for murder--doesn't include being indicted, doesn't include being convicted). In order to be declared "murder" the death has to pass through a filter--one way to lower the murder rate is by denying that those were murders. Prosecutors play a game that is very dangerous--prosecutors only bring charges when they're certain of gaining convictions. Depending upon how skilled the prosecutor is at picking low-hanging fruit, conviction rates from 95% to 98% are possible--juries may ignore a prosecutor's wishes and acquit Zimmerman and Rittenhouse and that ruins the batting average. One thing boosting that success rate is the plea bargain--plead guilty to a felony and beg for mercy, the prosecutor gets success, your defense attorney claims success, you get away with murder and might be out on the streets as soon as your sentence is handed down. Murder solved! Meanwhile, one out of two homicides classified as murder go unsolved--no arrests!

As somebody that's from Chicagoland and Illinois. It's kind of a myth that you can't own a gun in Chicago because you can and a concealed permit to. But Chicago and Highland Park Illinois you cannot own a assault rifle they are the only two cities in Illinois that have any kind of gun regulations that I know of. Illinois is not as bad as people make it out to be when it comes to our second amendment rights and I'm a republican saying this.
I'm adding this part into my comment because my comment just referred to GUNS. Yes we have to get a void card to be able to purchase a gun I got mine on my toilet many moons ago😁 it's just a way for the state to collect a little bit of money from us whatever there's nothing we can do about it.
And I know we are not allowed to own a suppressor in Illinois I personally don't really have a problem with that BUT it would be nice to be able to have one. And yes I know certain cities and Counties have a ban on the capacity of a magazine. And technically you don't supposed to own a .50 BMG caliber or .50 cartridge of any kind in Illinois.

These training classes cost on average about $200 because it's mandatory. All in all it cost me about $500 just to apply. Furthermore the law states they have 60 days to approve or deny the application, I applied on August 8th ,today is November 15th and I still haven't received any answers. Why can't a politician understand that no matter what law they introduce, the criminal element will always be able to get a gun. Making it harder for honest and responsible people to get one is only going to help the criminals. Remember, the most dangerous part of any fire arm is the individual holding it.

I counted; outside of the liability insurance, that's $275! I work a 4-10 PM shift, making $7.50 an hour! I can't afford to pay those, I would say, unreasonable taxes! Thankfully, I'm living in Kansas right now, a state that's way more gun friendly than New Jersey. I also plan on moving to the South eventually; reasons:
    A) Get married (I could care less about skin color, it's more on if she's into tradition)
    B) Get guns to protect myself with (thinking of getting an HK MR556A1 and a P30L)
    C) To get away from progressives who want to lecture me on how safe Marijuana is, but in the same breath (if that had a breath left) call me evil for wanting to protect myself and others!
Now, let me make myself very clear to those who see me as a threat (I happen to be a Christian, white, male), I have no intention of joining any militia, armed movement, or any other organization that comes off as radical. I'm not into Timothy McVeigh shit! I don't care if you're the Proud Boys or Antifa, you're not going on my property, let alone go into my house!
