A man who exemplifies the best qualities of a martial artist. Carlos Newton was respectful, educated, focused on continuous improvement, and a total athlete. Looking forward to this!
Newton is one of my favorites. I'm so happy he's on here.
You got Carlos Newton! Awesome.
Whoa!! The Ronin! Still remember his epic match with Sakuraba. 🇨🇦 Newton rules 🤘
Carlos Newton ❤ LEGEND
You got him!!! Congrats gentleman 👊🇨🇦. Can’t wait to see how this one turns out ! 🔥
Holy shit you did it !!
The two drops after him are also insane
@@LytesOutClips awesome thanks
I love when you let the subject ramble! They get comfortable and really open up.
It get them comfortable and allows us to ask hard questions later on
It’s a very important step when you have questions that the guest might not want to answer
best fighter ever, his submissions and fire..... and Canadian, he gave my a lot to look up too.
This should be a hoot . Looking forward to it. Much appreciated
One of the guys who most inspired me too get my black belt he truly represents what martial arts are all about! Much love to the legend Carlos Newton!
His MMA Debut was so inspiring
Terrific interview! Its great to hear Carlos recount his classic fights and I really dig Perrettis involvement.
My favorite fighter from the late 90’s/early 2000’s alongside my favorite matchmaker. I always wanted to see Newton rematch Henderson in Pride.
I absolutely love these latest John Perretti episodes. I remember when Carlos was stabbed. I followed his career very closely.
Another great podcast with one of my all time favorites. You guys are really making some magic happen on this show, keep it up!
True Legend
On my top 5 favorite fighters list.
The first time I ever watched MMA, I was 11 years old went to blockbuster looking for something similar to the movie bloodsport and rented a tape. I wasn’t sure if it was real or what but I remember on the cover was Carlos Newton and Fedors brother Alexander. I was hooked ever since.
Awesome podcast as always
I just hope Carlos finds some peace.
500 dollars😮
Being a former champ it should have been more,I can't estimate how much tho.
Love tht Pele Vs newton fight.
BoydBucky checking in
Great pod boys
Ladies and gentleman let me present to you one of the funniest posters from the Underground Forum
Please go to MMA.tv and enjoy his brilliance
@@LytesOutClips hahhah, thanks Mike 🤜🏼🤛🏼
perretti had dreads at one point
What the hell is perretti's dog doing? Looks like something with peanut butter.
Just watched it again matt was dazed but carlos was out
Top 5 greatest UFC moments ever IMO
I truly feel Matt was out too, but obviously he was the type of out where he still looks awake. You see it multiple times it combat sports guys are our, but still look awake.
It’s a Rocky type movie scenario
Truly incredible
Dragon Ball Jiu-Jitsu 🐉🟠🥋
Hahahahaha balloons.
It happened again in the Zinoviev interview
- 2 drops from now
@@LytesOutClips well I think the balloons must be at the end of every good show now lol 🎈🟢🟡🎈🎈🔵
Great if JP could get Mo Smith
That’s another impossible lift to do without him
he really needs a haircut
I can't wait to hear peretti talk about himself
Give it a rest ffs. I like the guy his a no nonsense, no BS type of straight shooter. Kind of rare in the this fcked up modern world
I really dig Perretti. He's the real deal.
