Hey Mike! We appreciate hearing your thoughts on this. As is evident, this program has been designed with Glassbreakers in mind, and we were considering the constant updates to Glassbreakers as part of that 25% value. But as we mentioned on Twitter, we'll be revisiting the criteria following the feedback we've heard on this subject.

Yep, I assumed as much. Personally, I know I can do that easily, but I understand the apprehension. And I'm still looking forward to the full release of Glassbreakers!

Great video. I love your channel. I used to be on Twitch but there were way too many commercials and it ruined it for me! Keep up the excellent work. Even the big Content Creators started off small. I know it’s a lot of work but keep plugging away! Hope you feel better soon!

The ads everywhere are annoying to me now. Even CZcams recently changed it for YT Partners so we can't choose if ads on our channel are skippable or not. I get a LOT of unskippable ads on YT now, way more than I used to. I get these companies gotta pay the bills but dang!
A lot of this episode was me owning that I wanted to be a different channel and quickly fell into the same cycle, then imposter syndrome kicking in. So I'm working to pivot now and make the content I always planned to.

Great vid Mike. Some great points on the topic at hand. 25% of content for those games doesn’t seem too extensive imo though it does depend a little on what the creator gets in exchange.

Yeah, there would need to be more than just "here's a free key" to make that worth it. Give me dev interviews and extra content like that and I would be golden.

Good stuff . I've been uploading gameplay from a casual perspective.

Yeah, I tried to be careful not to come off like I was ripping the 'impressions' channels. I know a lot of these guys and hey any VR content is spreading the gospel. I would just like to see different angles taken. I consume a lot less VR than I used to because so much of it is repeated. I'm hoping what I'm doing here on the channel now is different.

Top drawer video and a very intelligent take on the situation. I for one have been bored shitless by the VR content (you so eloquently described) that is being pumped out weekly. I rarely watch anything now. As you say it’s all very samey and not inspiring at all. It must be a hard cycle to break not reviewing brand new games but it seems fortune favours the brave (sometimes). Keep up the good work.

Thanks, BoyBrown! It certainly won’t benefit my channel in the short term, but creatively it’s more fulfilling. My grandma used to say if I can’t find what I’m looking for, be the first example of what I’m looking for.
There are a few examples of channels out there (ImaRainbow is a good one), but few and far between.

Great video! I would watch way more VR content creators if they were playing different games…. Or even something this isn’t game 😱 I used to love @benplaysvr for this exact reason. I got introduced to so many interesting experiences that no one was talking about.
