You can separate a key ring using a staple remover! It works great!
I highly recommend using little D-ring boot lace eyelets. I have some you can just rivet on and use them on my pocket pals, too. Great to affix them onto a key ring if you didn't sew in a connector and easy to add after the fact!!
How perfect is this for men?? You could churn out tons of these for everyone! They would even be perfect as a gift card holder. Two gifts in one!!

That clear layer on the heat transfer I believe can be ironed on directly. I think that’s one of the reasons it’s in the glitter heat transfer vinyl do font be too scared. Just watch out for the normal vinyl! Lol

I watched this video late last night and HAD to make one this morning!!! This was my first time sewing with faux leather too! It was so easy, I just need to tweak the tension on the sewing machine (realized AFTER I made it!), and I had to order some snaps that will coordinate. Thank you so much for this free pattern! It was definitely a great intro to sewing with faux leather!! I am going to have to make more for sure!

Hey Jess great as always! I just cut out two of these on my Cricut and it worked great, but no holes for the snaps, which is no big deal, I just wasn’t sure if the holes were supposed to cut, or if the holes are too small.

Love it top tip for attaching the key chain ring use a paper staple remover to Open it up and hold it while u get it started hope this helps x😊

I would definitely give it a try! Sealing the edges with something would be helpful, though
It might look cool to overlock the edges with a serger with the rugged look of the waxed canvas. I’m gonna try it with some scraps when my template arrives. Great video!

The ID template is a separate download on her website
I'm printing from Adobe, at 100%, letter size - and it's cutting off the top and left hand sides of the pieces. There's plenty of room at the bottom and right hand side of the page (as if it would print correctly if moved down and over), but that's not how it's printing. It's scaled correctly because the 1/2" of the strap is measuring correctly. What am I doing wrong?
Hmmm, I'm not sure. Do you know if the margins have been altered on your printer settings?
@@OklaRoots I don't think so. It's a laser printer, so I try not to tinker with it too much 😄 But I figured I'd fix the issue by just printing on the "poster" setting thinking it would just take two pages and then I could cut and tape them correctly. So I picked poster....and it printed correctly on one page! Who knows? I'll have to research to figure out what I've done to it. 🤣
I figured out what I did! In case anyone else has the same issue - I had, at some point, set my page "Orientation" to "Portrait." Changing it back to "Auto" recentered the pattern on the page and resolved the issue so it all printed without getting cut off. Hopefully this helps someone if you end up in the same boat!
PDF is in a pattern-vault I cannot open unless I buy the program.
Don't buy a program! That is an advertisement (I don't control what the ad says). Close any pop up and click on the photo of the mini envelopes. That will pull up the PDF you can download.

I attempted to go thru vault but it takes me to 3rd party asking for credit card, just does not seem secure…… update… I was just charged $1…. Hmmm, maybe I missed something
Report that charge to your credit card, it sounds like an advertisement was able to trick you. When you reach the pattern vault, close any pop ups, and click the photo of the mini envelopes. That will pull up the page you can download and print.
