Ive made the lucky penny wallet with the precut kit and with cork i cut out. The precut looks so much better by far. Thanks for all the little extra tips and pointer. I will be taping my next one! I will also put in a zipper and the flip lock. Thanks for a great tutorial!

Thank you for demonstrating the zipper hack! I had a tough time getting my mind around it. The Lucky Penny is my EDC wallet. :) A teflon foot may also be helpful for sewing sticky fabrics.

Thanks for telling us to put material behind the washer on the wrong side of the fabric (not just on top) that wasn't shown on the original video from Sallie. My first wallet started to rip with overuse. The next one I make will have 2 pieces of the fabric behind and before the washer before being sewn on like you show in your vid..😊 As always thanks for the video tutorial

I have made probably 50 of these; but I actually put pockets made of cotton or WPC so that they are lined rather than raw vinyl or cork on the inside.

For the box, put in some river rocks and faux flowers. Make it a vase
You could also use that last little pouch to hold your car key. I would just cut it a little window on the side without the zip, cover window in a piece of clear vinyl, and the. You can hit the lock/unlock button on your key without removing it from the pouch :)

Love your videos. I just have one question. Why do you use so much tape? I know you sew for a living so why all the tape??
Tape is a necessity when you are using certain materials i.e. cork ,vinyl ect. If you use pins it will create permanent holes, and if you use clips it will leave an impression. Hope this helps😊
