It's not that his family hate him, he's just not a very good businessman. The CEO of IMA is now Vacchi's cousin. Vacchi Family bough IMA shares before it was really big (mainly Gianluca's father, but Gianluca said he bought a lot of them by asking a loan to a banker, we don't know the thruth). But then Gianluca revealed to be a poor businessman, so now he doesn't have a position in IMA (just shares) and he also has various business that have gone wrong (some trials for bankrupt are still open). The only business he's doing well is the social media one, he's very proficient in it. It's not a self- made man btw cause he gets famous using money he didn't actualy acquire through work
