I have resisted the temptation to watch these vids for several months now. It’s because they are awesome and educational, yet I don’t have the time to actually get out on the water. 😢. I am too busy working full time and going to tradeschool full time. Doesn’t leave a lot of room to do this unless I ignore my wife and 3 kids. Lol. I will def be doing more of this after I get my certificate and license and school over with.

It is! I have a pontoon boat, SUP, JetSki, and 5 kayaks. My newest kayak ( similar setup to Justin’s) is my favorite to fish off of out of all of them. Don’t get me wrong, the pontoon is pure luxury when fishing, but there’s just something about small vessels. Take care. 🎣

We used to use bait from one river in another river when setting trotlines and always found that the bait from another body of water would get slammed before the bait from the same body of water. Don't know if it had a different scent or what but always found it interesting.

WTG Justin! You got on them flatties, that is a great spot for them, although early I get Gar ed to death. I also got into some flatties recently (finally). They are pushing some serious flow through the dam right now, I think that turned them on. Also seems like bluegill is getting it done up and down the river in late August, and not just dinks. I have been using skipjack, white bass, and one bluegill, and the bluegill is what is catching. One day I might be a catfish whisperer and figure this out.
1lb old fashion oats
6 hand fulls sweet feed
1 can cream corn
And add Strawberry Fanta to finish pack bait to your liking
Carp bait love using oats they stay around longer
This is pretty much what I use. Except I buy 2 oats, and take the second one with me. Bait gets to dry add lake water, gets to wet add a little more oats.

I don’t know if you have ever been to Dollar Tree and tried the red and white Betty Crocker scissors or not but you should. Best cheap scissors on the market by far. Red and white Betty’s. 👍

Hey Justin I'd love to see a video on how you secure your kayak/gear when traveling to different lakes or rivers. Do you ever get worried your gear will get stolen while staying in a hotel?
He mentioned in a prior video how much work it is carrying the batteries and all his equipment up the stairs into the hotel room. He said that believe I or not, things have been known to "walk away" if left unattended overnight lol
I take the valuable stuff off and use a locking strap to secure the kayak to the trailer

Depends on the current flow. If it doesn’t have any current, there may be a thermocline

First one was a blue not flathead. Flatheads don't have the v in the tail and their brown but none the less awesome fish.
