What a Blessing to have the young ones involved in cooking, they will cherish this in the years to come! Thank you Abraham for teaching me to have more patients when cutting an onion! God Bless all of you!

God its so good to see family together..... how I miss NORMAL American life! You are GREAT parents and can tell you are PARENTS to your children not simply their "friends"! Discipline is so very important in children's lives and is OBVIOUSLY lacking in the raising of todays children! You guys ARE DOING A GREAT JOB WITH YOURS! We must get back to FAMILY / CHRISTIAN VALUES if we ever expect to get back to happy normal life again!! GET BACK INTO YOUR BIBLES PEOPLE! BE BOLD!
As Ronald Reagan said; ""If we ever forget we are ONE NATION UNDER GOD, we will become A NATION GONE UNDER"!

Btw, as a former military cook that has been to cooking school, that portion of spiral sliced ham you are working with is a ham shank not a ham hock. A ham hock is a knuckle bone, the extreme end of the shank bone, where the foot connects, in essence. God bless. ✌️🌻

That was so enjoyable. I love how to go your kids involved. I'm a mom, nana, and a great grandmother. You all keep up the good recipes. My Dad made navy beans and hamhocks. He was in the Navy for 32 years and I have not made this soup since he passed away. Thanks to you and your kids, I'm ready to make this again. Keep Smiling Happy New Year 😊

I love your family. I was a 4-H leader and cub scout leader. I have taught many kids life skills. I hope your children will be involved in 4-H. They have so much to contribute. They are a delight. I applaud you. I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to watching more very educational videos. I am a new electric pressure cooker user and plan to use your recipe today with my leftover Christmas ham bone.

What a great looking family. I enjoyed your video. I also have the Instant Pot and make bean with ham (and sometimes bacon) soup for my family quite often. We like to make a big batch. That way we can freeze it for later.

Hi Reyas, yes, I cook them at 35 minutes. Larger beans may take longer, but I've found that time to be fairly versatile. If you find them to be a bit crunchy still, just put them back on for another 5 minutes.
