I chose the the work of “Crito" because I think it has some interesting messages intertwined within the story.. It's amazing how easy it was for me to get rid of any negative thoughts and relax my breathing in 40 minutes...All that just by closing my eyes and concentrating on her voice and the content of her words. Thanks a lot Cherie! It was amazing! 🌹🌹🌹
i got such a full & restful night's sleep thanks to this, growing up my dad used to read me stories or make one up to sleep and this feels similar in it's calmness and comfort. i saved it as a favourite, i'll be sure to pick up on more of the messages as i keep coming back to listen lol

I don't know what is more pleasant, the way you read, your voice or your eyes.. The only asmr in which I don't want to fall asleep quickly.

Using your own logic, I ask why does his comment concern you? What business is it of yours if someone wants to pay her an honest compliment? That's *YOUR* insecurity and nothing else. *Don't* sit there all high and mighty and pretend to be morally superior because people will absolutely call you out on it.
He has not been rude. He's not been perverse. He's given her a genuine compliment and if you have an issue with that, that's nobody else's problem but yours. The world would seriously be a worse place if everyone thought like you.

@@washada If you really do believe that there was misogyny in Ancient Greece, then sit down and think a minute why 6 of the main 12 Gods of the Olympus were women and the rest 6 of them were men. As for the slavery, it wasn't so harsh in Athens. Slavery was indeed harsh in Sparta, were the slaves were often killed by the young Spartans, as part of their training. But in Athens, slaves were provided with the basic goods: food, water, clothes, shelter and safety

Soft spoken ASMR is so much better than all the whispering stuff out there. This is how our parents read to us (softly) so of course we respond to it and fall asleep.

I actually listened to the story, even though there had been a lot of room for distraction or just shutting down ;) An interesting choice and it makes me think in a good way. Most of the stories told thee days, are from a dystopian perspective. Its nice to `get inspired in a more friendly way.
While Aristotle and Plato didn’t quite see eye to eye in later years, Aristotle did write that Plato was a truly happy individual. I always love reading his dialogues.

I was looking for something like this. Not as an ASMR exactly, cuz I don't really like those videos of people literally whispering. But this one is really good for me as something I can listen to feel less alone. Sometimes I just want to listen to someone's voice while studying or drawing.
