When Josie was discovered a girl, I remember how upset your son was, not because he didn’t treasure his sisters but because you could see how deeply he wanted a comrade. In that moment Sam, I watched you promise him that it would be you and him and how you would fill that for him. Watching you keep that promise and watching your relationship with him just blossom from a father son to a truly best friend relationship. So proud of you for healing that in your son and your constant effort to fulfill the promise that your son will never be lonely with you.

From bits and pieces we are getting. It sounds to me that Symphony was born with a spinal defect. Then the car accident exacerbated it. Injuring an already existing issue with the back can cause deterioration quickly. I'm not a dr but a person with years of back pain experience. I would suggest getting her in to see a spinal surgeon. They can order MRI which is the best imaging of the spine. I am very worried her having manipulations on her back when not really knowing the exact problem. I wouldn't want Symphony disabled before even starting her adult life. 😢

@@littlebigkicker Like I said only guessing off the bits and pieces we have heard. I wish Nia or both would explain to us what's going on. Many of us have watched them longtime and I know for myself that I'm concerned about Symphony. I know lot of things are private but they show there's something wrong but we're left guessing .

I think I was being nice. I would never be rude . I have been watching Sam and Nia over 8 straight years never miss a video. If they have taken it as being insensitive then that wasn't my intention.

Wish I had the benefit of seeing your simple pain journal last year when I was going through back pain. The idea of a pain journal just had me so overwhelmed of what to put in it, yours is so simple and straightforward. I also struggled with convincing myself after the fact that the pain wasn't that bad. Even in moments that I literally could not walk, I would go to the doctor next day and say, "oh, the pain was a 6". 6 months of suffering before finally being sent to pain management who sent me for an MRI. I hope your girl is feeling better now.
Please get Symphony all of the help she needs! I was hit really hard three years ago and I am still healing.
I have gotten every therapy there is and it was a very slow recovery but it does happen.
Be slow and soft during her recovery, as it is the hardest thing I've ever gone through in my 40 years 😞
How long has Sam been gone? I have been watching fro the start. But if this happened to Sam’s “daughter “ and it’s been going on. Why wouldn’t he come home. This isn’t normal at all Nia. Please recognize this. It’s time to put you and the girls first.

Nia, I just got my first sourdough starter last Friday….been making a loaf a day and my fam is loving it!! I think I did sourdough many, MANY years ago, but can hardly remember it. Anyway, it’s goooooooood!!!! 🤤🤤🤤

I would say no to the signs in cabin looks a little trashy... But what about a cabinet map of where things are? Or people just have to look for things. Haha makes more of an adventure. I love seeing these separate adventures!
I notice Sam seeming a little frustrated with Abram not being able to go down the difficult paths while snowboarding right away. The comment a few vlogs back about hoping Abram doesn’t get tired too easily was selfish Sam, he’s your son, he’s only 10 years old, I’m 25 and I would get tired fast for my first time I’m sure of it. You can’t be mad that right away Abram doesn’t soar, you need to be patient with him while he learns, he just needs encouragement and guidance to get better, I think Abram did amazing for his first time ever snowboarding, it’s not easy to do and I’m sure whoever taught you Sam, wasn’t frustrated if you got tired easy or couldn’t grasp it immediately to go in the more difficult paths

Why not take Symphony too, it just makes me sad when a Dad focuses on the son like my ex did, when my sons were born he spruked to everyone that he ‘was a real man to have sons’. Just not right. Mind you, if I’m wrong then I apologise but it just appears that way as I’ve seen a few times he only takes his boy places
Symphony is currently injured as you know so It's probably best that she stays at home, also Sam has 1 on 1 time with each of his children in his own way, it the past he has done things with just Symphony. I believe he's trying to give each of his kids alone time with him while also respecting their wishes and extracurricular activities. Based on what I'm seeing Symphony has been very invested in her youth group and spends most of her free time doing activities with her friends and church so I could imagine that Sam is just trying to respect Symphony's interest and allow her to do the activities she would like to do. Now that Symphony is becoming a teenager it's understandable that she wants to spend more time with her friends.

Please take her to a doctor and contact a lawyer. This is a life long problem. She needs to get compensation from the insurance of the car that causes it to protect her future. She may not be able to do certain jobs. Etc
