I'd love and appreciate watching more content about recent Asian dramas, especially the ones that were so popular that they got remade in different countries, Asian folklore, and discussions with people from other Asian countries that aren't as well known.

OTGW’s content was legitimately the reason for why I started learning Chinese like 3 years ago and I’m so glad they’re back. My interest in the language has been a pretty big part of me since then so I’m really indebted to them

@@NTDOffTheGreatWall Unfortunately not, since during the bulk of that I had no clue how to go about it and I wasted a lot of time trying things that didn’t work, etc. Now I seem to have figured out the general idea and so I’m going at a much faster pace 😊

I'm really glad these kinds of content are back again. My parents are from China but I was born in Canada and growing up, my parents didn't really teach me much about the different festivals we have and the traditions we have which saddens me how little I know. So having a channel like this where I can learn more about my own culture is really nice and I want to thank you for your work!! Happy Chinese New Year!

My grandma's a 2nd generation Chinese. Her father was originally from Hong Kong, came to North Borneo (present day Sabah, Malaysia) in the British era. By the time my grandma was born, many of the Chinese (Both Hakka and Cantonese) had quickly assimilated with the natives of Borneo. Even though we don't speak Mandarin or Cantonese anymore, this will certainly impress her! Or even one of her brothers and sisters lol. Kung hei fatt choi everyone!

Jeez, I felt what you talked about at the beginning. I can’t often talk to my own relatives overseas either. And both of my maternal grandparents have passed away.
