    Very nice video. The towels look very neat and pretty. However, I wonder what type of fabrics to use that will hold up after the towels are laundered?
    All of my towels (bath, tea, hand, facecloths) always shrink at the bottom, or wherever there is a "plain weave" between the "fluff" and at the edges.
    Thank you.

      I prewash in warmest water recommended 3 x's any materials I am sewing with to shrink before I sew. I just don't like to watch my pretty things scrunch up because I didn't plan well.

    Love this video.but what is the best type of fabric to make the actual towel out of?

    • @TheSewingRoomChannel
      @TheSewingRoomChannel  Před 5 lety +1

      Hi Kristie. Terrycloth fabric is very expensive. I purchase ready made towels and decorative them. Thanks for watching. Happy sewing.

      Hi Sherry. I purchase most of my towels at Walmart (Walmart.com). Their towels are very affordable. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
