Truly and truthfully, I have seen 'young' 42-year old's and 'old' 22 year old's. I think a lot depends on the level of responsibilities one has, kids, mortgage as well as their general attitude to life!
The attitude part is oddly important. I have a neighbor who's 75 with 10 kids, 57 grandkids, and just now, is he starting to slow down. Before his 75th birthday, he was more physically active and energetic than most 20 yr olds. And he contributed it more to his attitude about age than his genetics.
Depends on who you ask, when I was 5 I thought 20 was old. When i was 20 i thought 50 is old. Now at 50 im thinking 70 is old. 70 year olds now tell me "you're 50? You're just a baby."

Those who said under 80's must've been high 'cause, come one, it's when you start physically ageing. Grey hair, heavy wrinkles, minor problems with senses etc. I guess it is relevant but what this video shows is when people will consider themselves to be old and how they think about their lives. For me, it's over 90 'cause I know too many people, even in their 90's, who can still do A LOT! and life is getting longer nowadays. Youth is defined as 20-45 nowadays. I can see it in the clubs etc. I guess, by this time of me watching this, those who said 30's/40's must be grandparents already. 😂 (I'm 33, btw).

A so-called psychologist friend of mine says he considers 85 years old to be old. And I told him that most people don't even see 85 years old. He is 72.

There is no specific "one size fits all" age. You're old when you "feel" old. Someone like Jack LaLaine was never old. Everybody has an age, which is quite simple, you take whatever year it is (assuming you've already had your birthday, otherwise use last year), and subtract the year you were born. Tada, your age. But people have lots of different ages. There's your body age, which is based on how well your body functions. Your mental age, which is based on maturity. Etc. And a lot of times, these ages don't correlate with each other. You see this a lot in professional sports. You take someone who is 35, and mentally he still feels like he can play like he did at 25. And technically, he's actually a lot better at the sport mentally at 35, than 25, because he's got 10 years worth of experience playing at an elite level. But his 35 year old body, will not perform the same way it did at 25. The brain is saying, do this, this is very simple you've done this millions of times. But the body is saying, yes doing that isn't so simple anymore because I've done it millions of times. So they're forced to retire, even though in their mind they still feel like they can compete. But their bodies just can't keep up with the younger, less experienced players in the league. We saw this with Michael Jordan on the Wizards. Jordan was way better than these kids he was playing against. But the young kids were beating Jordan because he was "old" in terms of basketball.
I feel old at 18, I feel like as soon as you turn adult age you're old because that's when you start getting hit by reality and realizing that you're at the time where you have to get a job and you can't live carefree anymore. Dude I hear ya, but you're still a kid. I'm 28 and when I think about who I was when I was 18, I was a kid (and I had an effed up childhood). When I see and talk to 18yr olds, most of y'all seem like lil kids to me. You're new to the adult world and you've got a lot of struggles ahead of u. Struggles that will make u wanna die and give up. But you're still really young. Make good choices now and you'll have a good adulthood. If ur reckless and spend ur 20s partying (like I did) your life is gonna be a struggle.

At 60 the immune system declines rapidly to become similar to someone undergoing chemo therapy....the body ages rapidly. I am quoting a doctor on this. So I say 60 is onset of old age. Any age over 60 I consider old.
I looked this up. There is a grand total of zero amount of evidence to support your "theory" that the immune system ages RAPIDLY around 60 down to that of a chemo patient. Absolutely zero evidence. It seems to me that you listen to people too much and never look into anything yourself. This is akin to a kid who heard his uncle say aliens are real so now he vehemently believes they are real. "This one random doctor said this one random thing once upon a time so it must be true." Sure the immune system gets weaker in old age, but nothing about it is "rapid", it is gradual, and it should also never go down to the level of a chemo patient if you have taken care of yourself. Also you have a lot of control over how much it declines. Someone who has exercised their whole life and has lead a healthy lifestyle will have less declines than a lifelong couch potato with a horrible diet. You should start looking into things yourself more instead of just listening to what others say. Even if they are doctors.
I think the concept of "aging" is erroneous. Living and developing follow a genetic pattern. Some patterns are longer- some turtles for example- genetic plan 200 years plus. Then you have a katydid- a few months. Along this genetic continuum we all gain and loose abilities. Are we old when we're 40ish and can't have any more children? Are we old when we're 30 plus and we start to show wrinkles and our baby fat goes? Are men old when their hair starts falling out at 35? I guess you're old when your family's genetic code says you are? One of my father's siblings died when he was 82, my father at 67. How;s that for gene planning?Everyone seems to have his or her little private walk along the continuum. All I can say is eat your veggies, stay slim, exercise moderately, and keep a healthy mental attitude. If you have problems (short of death) try to take it philosophically, you're just yourself doing 0, 10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80.90,100 etc. Enjoy the continuum.

I'm very Youthful thank you very much. Maybe because that saying of "Black don't crack". But everyone always say I am 16 when I'm really 26. I have a baby face. And didn't age much since I was a teenager. So it really depends on a person. Maybe the average 26 year old. Maybe it's a woman thing to appear more youthful compared to most men.. lol so I can't 100% agree with you.

I would say you start seeing the age in people over 90, as they might start to struggle with one or the ailment.
