I think the tables are outside because of COVID-19 precautions. I have eaten in this same restaurant when I was in Nara 2 years ago, and all the tables were inside the restaurant.
@@fernandoroque1547 Ohhh I see. I'll keep that in mind then! If I ever visit Nara one day, then it will be after the COVID-19 anyway so maybe I will not have to worry about eating outside with the deers there.

Wow, after the deer ate his lunch, the restaurant offered to replace his whole meal. Amazing service.
The restaurant is wrong in having a eating space that deer can reach!
The restaurant is super nice, and understanding to replace the meal for him to do the firming. But I love those deers! ❤️

Thanks for your wonderful vids. Never fails to make me smile. Your experience with the deer was funny! I was in nara japan last year and visited the deer park and the temple. A deer bit my brothers butt as the deer wanted the deer biscuits. My brother had to run away...being chased by some deer. It made me lol so hard. 😂

I visited Todaiji in 2010 and still remember how impressive the main building is. The size of the place blew my mind and to think its 2/3 the original size.
When we (hopefully) go to Japan next year we will definitely go to Nara. It looks so tranquil in your video. In the meantime we posted a video about visiting another island, Puerto Rico! Can’t wait for your next video!

Soy sauce egg is one of the most satisfying foods to eat.
My parents in law used to live in Ikoma, near Nara city and there is a very unusual kids amusement park on top of the mountain that is worth a visit for the views of Osaka alone.

PS: You should have stand up with the food, attract him somewhere else (use a bit of the food for that), and put some of the food on the ground for him to eat there. At least that's what I would do lol

Rion, I love it when you eat. You are not cheap... you actually don't care about the meals, bento, etc. if they're expensive... You just buy and eat 'em if you think and/or know that the food's good. :)

I loved our trip to Nara. It was my daughter’s favorite part of visiting Japan. I’d love to visit that tea house, and I now know to carry a spray bottle with me for the deer. NO!! NO!!! NO!!! 🤣

I remember my trip to Osaka last year, visiting Nara was one of the places. I bought a senbei was thinking of feeding them, then one of them with the long antler just come up to me and grab it from me. I didn't even get to removed the paper wrap, they just ate everything. The long antlers are the one who usually won't bow to you. And they still expect you to feed them. The one with short or no antlers are usually the one who bows.If you're feeding, many will flock to you. When you have no more food, you need to show clean hand if not they assume you more. I remember reading an article that a deer died of indigestion. They open the deer up and found plastic bag inside them. Poor thing.

oh nice video, i remembered my trip to Nara, Todaiji temple and also have eaten in the same resto but i sat inside with glass wall. i think there is no table and chair outside, maybe that time it was raining. I loved seeing deers walking freely in the area.

Heehee. That deer was kinda hilarious. :) I live in some woods so they hang around here a fair bit, always cheer me up. :) (But they're definitely more shy than the ones in Nara. :) )
