Hated all the CoD youtubers that labled anything that wasn't an unrealistic lazerbeam of a weapon that had literally no recoil at all as trash. or would complain that "iT hAs To MuCh ReCoIl!!1!" What I like about Stu's older content is that he gives a more in-depth and accurate depiction of how the weapon performs, how to configure it, and what it's strengths are. Makes me miss these sorts of videos, and I get why he doesn't do them anymore, but I would love a similar series on something like Modern Warfare 2019 or Black Ops Cold War. If not by Stuart himself, then by someone else
What I like about the grips in Black Ops 1, is the fact that weapons that had their stocks retracted or folded would then have them extended or unfolded, or how the preview shows the character changing the position of their hands to accommodate the underbarrel attachments.
I think they shoulda included the MAC-10 as a powerful and fast ROF but short-range and high recoil weapon. The Uzi would be its lower-recoil, better range, but weaker counterpart. Also, I like how Ahoy says Dual Wield is impractical, and then proceeds to wreck 5 people with it.
I can see why people could confuse the MAC 10/11 as an Uzi, they have a similar silhouette with the magazine in the grip. (DON'T READ ANY MORE IF YOU WISH) Both guns are similar in design and purpose, being open bolt sub-machine guns with a telescoping bolt that wraps around the barrel to make the gun generally more compact. They even had time on the silver screen during their primes (though, as mentioned by Tacocat04, everyone just called both the MAC 10/11 and a true Uzi an Uzi). I will point out a few differences with the MAC 11 in this game-for example, the cyclic rate. In simple terms, it's just a bit slower than the real life ROF (900 RPM vs 1200-1500 depending on ammo is a bit of a jump). Also, the MAC 11's charging handle incorrectly stays forward all the time, whether the bolt is open or not, when the charging handle stays to the rear when the bolt is open IRL. Another mistake is the magazine. The unmodified short magazines incorrectly hold 20 rounds in game compared to 16 in real life (no +1 in the chamber since it is an open bolt gun, and by the way, why hasn't COD added a +1 mechanic yet? A +1 mechanic would be good because there would be a chance where that 1 chambered round would finally net the player a kill after missing many shots on target). The last mistake: the in game iron sights. The rear sight is a rear notch (where it should be a peephole sight) and the front sight is a front post (correct). Not gonna comment on Dual Wield, though. By the way, the MAC 10/11 name is technically not a correct name, the reason why is because the formal name for these guns, according to the patents, is M10/11, and the MAC 10/11 name is basically just a nickname by combining the manufacturer of the weapon (in this case, Military Arms Corporation, or MAC) and the model name of the specific gun. Sorry if this comment made you all think I'm just a nitpicky dickhead nerd who likes to correct people on mistakes, I do acknowledge the fact that not every game is created perfectly without flaw or blemish.
My loadout: Death Incarnate > MAC11 dual wield > M1911 dual wield (my preference) > Frag, Flash, Tac Insertion > Scavenger, steady aim, hacker > Spyplane, Counter-Spyplane, something else > Spooky face paint (Apache or something black and white) Absolute carnage. Double kills everywhere. Best k/d is 5 or 6 to 1 with this. If I could hear the enemies in those lobbies I bet they got really mad about it. At the end of the day, nobody appreciates this gun but for those that know how to use it right, it's really good.
The Mac11 and PM63 should have had a 34 bullets mag. The Kirparis should have had a 36 bullets mag. That at least would have made them slightly better.
I agree, 30 round mags at the least. It's also a shame that you can't pair rapid fire with extended mags in this game. It makes the SMG's very underpowered and unbalanced compared to the AR's.
I really enjoyed these videos back in the day. They're very informative which was especially useful coming from a time where information about games was much more lacking
I remember using this gun I was a beast with it Love the headshots at long ranges and I always get longshots I have grip and extended mags and I just ran around the Map With scavenger, slight of hand and then Marathon
VampireLord1999 i cant use it because of the shoddy worksmanship. I find it hard to rely on a gun with unsanded welds and sights that look like something off of a fallout pipe rifle.
This and the PM63 have low damage, and small capacity, its not good since the hipfire is really poor for these twin smgs, Unlike the Kiparis, it has one additional advantage of piercing through walls with the twin Kiparis's, hipfire is still effective on that gun even the Skorpion since it remains to be the highest damage Dual SMGs in the SMG class
Liked this gun a lot, but I think the mac 10 would be even better. They keep making futuristic Cod games but it wouldn't hurt to put in 5 or 6 old guns like the mac 11 (even better mac 10), fn fal or the spas 12 or even 1 or 2 ww2 guns
Or maybe it takes place in like, 2080 but has guns from the 80’s and 90’s and maybe the early 2000’s like the AN94 (The real, black AK-look a like one, not the BO2 style) or even an HK CAWS. Look it up if you don’t know it, looks kind of like a G11. It was in Fallout 2 as well.
The best 20 rounds magazine SMG in the game. I remember destroying campers in Jungle from across the map just because of it's insanely low recoil. I prefer this (and maybe the others 20 rounds per magazine SMGs) over the UZI. It's recoil was so hard that you effectively had to use it at Scorpion range, but without the stopping power of the scorpion or the reload time of the others SMGs. Pretty much an underrated weapon. It's like a Spectre with less bullets, so there's clearly better choices, but it's not an unviable weapon either.
I used this in Black Ops most of the time. Extended Mags+ Hardened Pro and this gun becomes a mini ACR at any ranges. It takes a bit of practice to work with the accuracy but it is very satisfying when gets used to it.
i changed my stakeout setup due to his vid, and now i run and gun with it all the time, and its a blast. the m11 setup listed here does well, though i prefer to run marathon for quick charges and escapes.
he's right about the accuracy part, if you have good accuracy when using an m16 or an m14 the mac 11 is the smg for you because if u aim at their chest the mac 11 will kill them quick, its a very underrated smg
Thats true - there is the China Lake, which was a design based on the M79 family, but that never saw mass production. Meanwhile, the M79 'blooper' is still in use today around the world. For added fun, the M576E1 round could be loaded for close range work, making the M79 into a 40mm shotgun.
Caleb Gates my go to class was Mac suppressed with a Stella-3 or rpg launcher. And ghost, sleight of hand and marathon ( all 3 pro ). And a smoke grenade and some frags. It was a really good objective game mode class. I have fond memories of countless ninja steals and ninja caps.
Then why did this gun ever exist?! Now I'm actually talking in reality. The MAC-10 was tried and liked, both by the Army and gangsters, although the price was a problem for the latter. where the MAC-11 was always trashed! One of the worst guns ever made. Black Ops should have had the MAC-11 as a Secondary. would've outclassed the CZ75, even with full-auto, and would have to be the last to unlock after all other pistols are purchased.

Very true, the M10 also was the one that saw real service, whereas the M-11 never did to my knowledge. As far as the M10 (or MAC-10) goes, if it were paired with its SIONICS suppressor it would provide both stealth and enhanced controllability for the weapon due to the suppressor design and added weight (in game terms) I wish they had put it in.

xbox ahoy's vids are all epic. im waiting for the galil since its my favorite AR in the game. i like his advice of playing to a weapon's strengths instead of trying to shoehorn it into a role its less suited for.
I agree, there is no such thing as a bad weapon, any gun can be amazing with the right player/statergy. I play another game, and I went on a 15 killstreek with the default pistol you get.

i use the mac11 with extended mags, rapid fire, or the silencer. the best perks in my opinion are scavenger, sleight of hand, and hacker. scavenger is basically required, sleight of hand is very useful, and hacker can save your killstreaks from claymores. as long as you stay stealthy, this class is so much fun and very powerful.
my favorite warlord combo is suppressor and extended mags. suppressor kills the muzzle flash so you can see the enemy more clearly and its easier to hit
My favourite guns are MAC11 and MPL - MAC11 is a must to have Scavenger and Sleight of Hand - 3rd perk (Green perk) you choose what you want --- Marathon and Ninja are good since you must get close to the enemy since SMGs are best at close to medium range, can be still effective at a distance but requires much skill which most people do not have - i'm a pro SMGer, there are 3 primary play styles of SMG, Assault Rifle, and Sniping --> CoD also has Shot-gunners and LMGers (of course)
I always use extended mag on the mac-11(possibly my favorite smg) because it allows me to win gunfights against multiple enemies and it means I can spray an enemy down without having to hit every single shot.

The M16 had extreme range in CoD4 with extreme damage while it was in range. One burst for a kill within a good distance was kind of overpowered. Now, add Juggernaut to that, and you outshoot most assault rifles and all SMGs within that range.
@NunsOnFireGaming In a way. The Uzi is an Israeli built weapon, while the Mac 10 and 11 are American built. Another major difference is the fact that the Uzi uses 9x19 parabellum cartridges while the Mac 11 uses a more rare, and less powerful .380 ACP round, that is widely considered ineffective anywhere past 30 meters. In comparison, the traditional Uzi has a good targeting range of 50 meters, and has an effective range of 200. In short, it looks like it, but past that, isn't. Sorry if TMI.
One thing to point out. The MAC-11's noise it makes when it Fires unsilenced is the same sound produced by Decoys. Though maybe not the greatest thing, you could fool people into thinking you're a decoy.
MAC-11 with rapid fire, an unaware opponent is a dead opponent, in less than a millisecond he is gone. One of my more favorite combinations in black ops.
I use the Mac-11 with steady aim and rapid fire, it is just great, because I can fire from the hip at medium range without aiming. My only problem is, that i have only 20 cartiges in the magazine. I love your guides, and I´m waiting for the Uzi, because it is my favourite SMG.
every guns are good, when used wisely. i found that guns people hate are the best one when you take the time to master them. just like the skorpion who is the best close range gun in the game, it was the same in goldeneyes, everyone hated that gun but when i used it , people hated ME because i was able to get them.

This doesn't make any sense. It would render the UZI completely useless because it's only strength was a big 48 round magazine.
A very underrated smg; the only issue I had with it was the capacity/ammo. Extended mags with scavenger was a must with this gun

I put Suppressor and Ext. Mags and it was pretty useful.

I agree, there is no such thing as a bad weapon, any gun can be amazing with the right player/statergy. I play another game, and I went on a 15 killstreek with the default pistol you get.

i use the mac11 with extended mags, rapid fire, or the silencer. the best perks in my opinion are scavenger, sleight of hand, and hacker. scavenger is basically required, sleight of hand is very useful, and hacker can save your killstreaks from claymores. as long as you stay stealthy, this class is so much fun and very powerful.

my favorite warlord combo is suppressor and extended mags. suppressor kills the muzzle flash so you can see the enemy more clearly and its easier to hit
The Mac-11 is a beast of an SMG. So damn accurate and great rate of fire. One of my Favs in the whole games
I had sooooo much fun with silencer and rapid fire on this. MOST fun thing ever
I really like MAC11. I ignored it at first, but later I realize, that it is very deadly at close distance. I've no idea why it isn't popular.
My favourite guns are MAC11 and MPL - MAC11 is a must to have Scavenger and Sleight of Hand - 3rd perk (Green perk) you choose what you want --- Marathon and Ninja are good since you must get close to the enemy since SMGs are best at close to medium range, can be still effective at a distance but requires much skill which most people do not have - i'm a pro SMGer, there are 3 primary play styles of SMG, Assault Rifle, and Sniping --> CoD also has Shot-gunners and LMGers (of course)
I always use extended mag on the mac-11(possibly my favorite smg) because it allows me to win gunfights against multiple enemies and it means I can spray an enemy down without having to hit every single shot.

In his video about the F2000 (MW2), he seemed like he wanted to say that it was terrible, but he figured a way to make it useful anyway.
Mac11 with Rapid Fire, scavenger, Slight o' hand, and tac mask pro, and you've got a beast class.
The M16 had extreme range in CoD4 with extreme damage while it was in range. One burst for a kill within a good distance was kind of overpowered. Now, add Juggernaut to that, and you outshoot most assault rifles and all SMGs within that range.

The Uzi is an Israeli built weapon, while the Mac 10 and 11 are American built. Another major difference is the fact that the Uzi uses 9x19 parabellum cartridges while the Mac 11 uses a more rare, and less powerful .380 ACP round, that is widely considered ineffective anywhere past 30 meters. In comparison, the traditional Uzi has a good targeting range of 50 meters, and has an effective range of 200.
In short, it looks like it, but past that, isn't.

One thing to point out. The MAC-11's noise it makes when it Fires unsilenced is the same sound produced by Decoys.
Though maybe not the greatest thing, you could fool people into thinking you're a decoy.

MAC-11 with rapid fire, an unaware opponent is a dead opponent, in less than a millisecond he is gone. One of my more favorite combinations in black ops.

I use the Mac-11 with steady aim and rapid fire, it is just great, because I can fire from the hip at medium range without aiming.
My only problem is, that i have only 20 cartiges in the magazine.

i love the mac11. i've got an entire class dedicated to it
ext. mags all day every day. no other good attachments in my opinion
I swear by Warlord w/ Ext Mags and Grip on this gun, INCREDIBLE. I can get triple sprays with one mag from a long distance.

every guns are good, when used wisely. i found that guns people hate are the best one when you take the time to master them.
just like the skorpion who is the best close range gun in the game, it was the same in goldeneyes, everyone hated that gun but when i used it , people hated ME because i was able to get them.
