I blame Spencer more than Esme in this situation. He either needs to move out like you said and just visit Ace when he's in Laura's care or ask to take him out to the park once in a while, like an actual adult brother would do, or he should breakup with Trina and just focus on Esme and Ace. How can you have 10 loads of laundry when a baby is teething? My baby will be 48 next month and I had to go to the laundry mat in the apartment complex and that was hell. You can’t stop for two seconds and be happy for your grandson?..Also, her pushing them to get along for the sake of Ace is so dumb. If you cared that much you wouldn’t have left. Or you would’ve actually kept in contact while you were gone bc it’s clear she had no clue what was happening while she away….I’m just over Laura Kevin pointing out esme is isolated was good. Someone needs to. But can we also talk about WHY she’s isolated? She’s a dangerous criminal who never paid for her actions. Her personality is “entitled karen”. Who’s clamoring to befriend that type of person?. It’s why they have likable characters like Liz, Cam, Alexis and Laura all showing kindness towards her. Emphasizing her capacity for change and playing up the motherhood angle. It’s why ppl talk about “her past” but never specify what her crimes were. That’s done to distance the character for the brutality of what she did- arson, drugging, revenge porn, etc… Ultimately, the show made a few mistakes in their attempt to redeem esme. 1. She didn’t pay for her crimes. 2. They overestimated the power of amnesia and a baby as a reset tool. 3. They played the middle too long. They’ve shown glimpses of her acting like her old self, but never follow up. She lost her memory new years day/morning. We’re quickly approaching a year of this. The story hasn’t had the movement needed ti keep ppl engaged.

Kevin is right. The thing is that Esme is isolated bc she chooses to be. She’s working and has no expenses. I’m sure Laura pays for everything. If she wanted to, she could have called the nanny that watches Ace when they are in the parenting class. She’s playing the poor little me card. I don’t even believe that things were bad while Spencer was gone. Esme knew Spencer was returning on Monday, so she made the house a mess so he’d feel bad for her. Luckily Laura and Kevin arrived first. So when Spencer got there, he wasn’t phased by the apartment. Laura got the brunt of the shocking reveal. Looking forward to things starting up with Esme, so we can move on from her and her drama.

I was excited to hear him sing again, (remember that enchanting lullaby about stars and roses?) but that was more of a lap bouncing beat. Dang it!! (Normally when he's enthusiastic with Ace he stays up in head, but this time he went with a low dark Elvis Presley tone) As soon as he came home, he was hit with baby fever. Symptoms including dramatic changes in pitch, singing silly songs and inability to put the baby down. Thank you Kevin for sharing the white elephant in the room. Esme needs a social life, so she can leave Spencer alone.
I thought I was the only one that noticed. My theory is maybe the scenes aren’t filmed together, but edited together. GH probably films certain days depending on people’s schedules or vacation time. Also NAC’s weight could be fluctuating. Not sure if he has to slim down for his upcoming Netflix role. I also noticed in some GH episodes he wears tight fitted shirts and other episodes they’re loose fitted. Maybe that could be a reason as well.

I hate that after such a wonderful weekend with Trina, they are immediately jumping back into Spencer and Esme doing things together for Ace. Spencer could have taken care of Ace himself instead of offering that they do it together.
I don't know why the writers insist on making Spencer act like an idiot for Ace's sake. He already lives at Laura's house without needing to and he still has to be nice to the predator Esme because of his brother....Bring the real Spencer back....This writing is irritating 😡

The GH writers want us to forgive Esme and welcome her back into Spencer's life. No way, she laughed about when she was dating him (not man enough), not for her. He was more than man enough for our lady Trina (they rocked the boat) with their love. She is sleazy for sleeping with Spencer and his dad, (nasty girl).
How can you have 10 loads of laundry when a baby is teething? My baby will be 48 next month and I had to go to the laundry mat in the apartment complex and that was hell. Esme dramatizes everything with Ace, come on, Ms. perfect mom. Ace was looking at the door, waiting for Spencer to come back. I know he was saying, please come back and rescue me, big brother.
They’ve been writing Laura like this since last year. She’ll have moments where she seems completely aware of everything, but her actions reenforce situations that are harmful to everyone, especially Spencer…Like Spencer is excited talking about his weekend away and Laura’s eyes are shifting to esme bc that’s who she’s really concerned about. You can’t stop for two seconds and be happy for your grandson?..Also, her pushing them to get along for the sake of Ace is so dumb. If you cared that much you wouldn’t have left. Or you would’ve actually kept in contact while you were gone bc it’s clear she had no clue what was happening while she away….I’m just over Laura
Kevin pointing out esme is isolated was good. Someone needs to. But can we also talk about WHY she’s isolated? She’s a dangerous criminal who never paid for her actions. Her personality is “entitled karen”. Who’s clamoring to befriend that type of person?. And as Diane pointed out during Trina’s trial, old druggy didn’t have friends back then either..so this isolation isn’t new…
But intentional or not, the show lowkey admitted here that they’ve had nothing for her to do since the birth of this child. And that her only connection to society is through an ex boyfriend who would drop you in a heartbeat if she didn’t use your kid for leverage….so if she’s going to cling to Spencer bc she “has no one”, let’s get that show in the road. I think I speak for most Sprina fans when I say we’re ready to move esme out this story completely. Let her become obsessed and go crazy. Have that be her undoing. It’s past time.
It does appear Laura is on the sly side hoping Spencer and Esme grow closer together knowing very well Spencer loves Trina. How two faced that is of Laura.

So no, I don’t think she’s pushing them together. What I think is the show knows Laura/Genie Francis is the heart of GH and they’re desperate to make Esme work. So they’re using her to prop Esme in hopes that ppl will soften towards her…that’s my guess.

It’s why they have likable characters like Liz, Cam, Alexis and Laura all showing kindness towards her. Emphasizing her capacity for change and playing up the motherhood angle. It’s why ppl talk about “her past” but never specify what her crimes were. That’s done to distance the character for the brutality of what she did- arson, drugging, revenge porn, etc…
Ultimately, the show made a few mistakes in their attempt to redeem esme. 1. She didn’t pay for her crimes. 2. They overestimated the power of amnesia and a baby as a reset tool. 3. They played the middle too long. They’ve shown glimpses of her acting like her old self, but never follow up. She lost her memory new years day/morning. We’re quickly approaching a year of this. The story hasn’t had the movement needed ti keep ppl engaged.
Esme's baby is not Cassidine. Father's is Oz who blackmailed Esme. Who she brought black market cellphone.
Esme was on assignment for Ryan to break up Nicholas and Ava. Did they forget that? Esme is still playing them all and using Ace.

Kevin is right. The thing is that Esme is isolated bc she chooses to be. She’s working and has no expenses. I’m sure Laura pays for everything. If she wanted to, she could have called the nanny that watches Ace when they are in the parenting class. She’s playing the poor little me card. I don’t even believe that things were bad while Spencer was gone. Esme knew Spencer was returning on Monday, so she made the house a mess so he’d feel bad for her. Luckily Laura and Kevin arrived first. So when Spencer got there, he wasn’t phased by the apartment. Laura got the brunt of the shocking reveal.
Looking forward to things starting up with Esme, so we can move on from her and her drama.

I saw Laura looking when Spencer was so excited talking about him, and Trina and Esme wished he had treated her like that. Esme is her own worst enemy and no one to blame. I feel like she will do something bad to either Spencer or Trina. Most likely, when Spencer will go do that movie.

Spencer & Trina being twin flames will have their ups and downs but, in the end, they will stand the tallest with their love.

As soon as he came home, he was hit with baby fever. Symptoms including dramatic changes in pitch, singing silly songs and inability to put the baby down.

I thought I was the only one that noticed. My theory is maybe the scenes aren’t filmed together, but edited together. GH probably films certain days depending on people’s schedules or vacation time. Also NAC’s weight could be fluctuating. Not sure if he has to slim down for his upcoming Netflix role. I also noticed in some GH episodes he wears tight fitted shirts and other episodes they’re loose fitted. Maybe that could be a reason as well.
