Einhander (PS1) Playthrough - Hard Mode - Fun Run 2 - Unknown Fighter II With Python/Spreader

- Playthrough of Einhander for the PS1 on Hard mode mode on ps1 with the Unknown Fighter II (Selene). This is the 2nd for a series of playthroughs with it where i will be calling "Fun Runs" as i will be using different weapon combinations with the intention of showcasing then. This time around i will use the Python alongside the Spreader. Python is tied with the Mosquito as the rarest weapon in Einhander as you can literally only find the Python in one place and its even rarer as its on the background of stage 5, having to destroy a carrier with the Wasp for it to drop the Python. This weapon fires 5 mines connected to a tripwire and will explode if either it stays too long on the screen or if one of the mines hit something which in that case will trigger a chain reaction making the others explode as well. This weapon has some physics to it as you can move your ship around while firing it to make the mines go in a particular way but its extremely tricky to fully exploit that. The Python other than a gimmicky and a fun weapon it has one thing going for it, Power. The mines are very strong oftentimes destroying regular mobs with one single mine contact and heavily damaging bosses if all 5 concentrate in one spot. The major drawbacks of this weapon are its very slow fire rate alongside the nature of the weapon itself making it very poor against swarms of enemies if you miss one of the mines. You also have to be aware that you cannot swap weapons (or placement in this case) if any mines are on the screen and sometimes that might be the reason you blow up. Just like my previous run with the Riot, the Spreader is the best partner for the Python as well for the same reasons. Overall a very fun and unique weapon in the game that definitely takes awhile to get used to it and the right combination can make it very powerful. Sadly you cant really use this weapon on a normal run because it is so rare so you can only enjoy it with the Unknown Fighter II.

As a side jot from my explosive initial comment, the graphics in this game were among the BEST when it came out. Better than par for Square, who still produce some of tue best graphic quality in whole game industry.
Oh dont worry my Man 😊. Oh yeah Squaresoft back then was WAAAAY ahead of its time when it came tô The quality of their games and still is actually. Combine this with a Shoot em up game and you have this masterpiece😊.

Dude honestly, i bet a actual copy of it today not only is RARE but also its probably extremely expensive as well. On my end since i am playing on a emulator, i basically Just downloaded The ROM of The game. Oh yeah no Wonder they call Einhander The most advanced Shoot em up ever! This statement remains true tô this fricking Day!

Oh Man same thing with me as well🤣🤣🤣. Since Einhander is só different tô other Shoot em ups and The fact weapons have limited ammo (something never done before in The genre) truly makes you plan ahead.

Oh Man i remember waaay back where my truly stuck point in Einhander even playing on Free( i owned The Japanese version which is The One i am playing here) was At stage 4 (The water One). Even with infinite continues i could not get past that part for a long time as well.
