In Marty's hands, it still kills, both on stage and in studio, instead of dry rotting on the wall of a Hard Rock Cafe somewhere, or locked in some rich non musician collectors vault, never to see the light of day again. Hind sight is ALWAYS, 20/20... isn't it?!? lol

Ken collaborated heavily with Marty on putting that together. Marty is not just a musician; but a historian, photographer (took the last photo of Johnny Cash a couple days before he passed), and a curator. I read it took about 8 years to put that series together. (18 of the artists interviewed for the production, passed before it actually aired)
Also, Marty finally expects to open his Congress of Country Music museum in his hometown, sometime next year.

A well-chosen gem ("Country Boy Rock & Roll") from the rich repertoire of DON RENO, RED SMILEY & the TENNESSEE CUT-UPS bluegrass band: "Some hillbilly started pickin' / Everybody rocked and rolled!" I've always said Don Reno was a great songwriter (as well as a master on any stringed instrument). Don was known for producing under pressure. When I interviewed him in 1973, he told me he wrote a ton of songs on his way to the King recording studio in Cincinnati!
