  • Hello everyone,
    Welcome back to Automotive Anatomy and in this episode we meet Mr. Clint. Mr. Clint owns a gorgeous Lotus Elise. Yes, we are not familiar with this chassis and it might seem very intimidating to own one. However, As Clint had the opportunity to own the car for the past 13 years he has realized that it is a very capable machine and reliable. He wants to bring awareness to people on how good an Elise can be. With the nice additions of purposeful aero he has managed to get more out of the vehicle. He is not in search of power as he is in search of the best driving capability he can achieve. I hope you guys enjoy this episode and as always thank you for the support! #automotiveanatomy

    16:10 funny you say that, I'm from the UK (England), and whenever I've been on a track day or gone to a track to watch racing as a spectator these cars are everywhere, Elise' and Exige's. Would love to own one of these someday. A K20 swapped S2 Elise/Exige would be my perfect car.

    I noticed the Lotus badge on the front clam is faded and worn. Gregs race parts can fix you up with a replacement for $20. They have the black badges too.

      id have to respectfully disagree. most people who tune or have tuned their car very rarely talk about crank numbers. always whp

    • @grossmeister1181
      @grossmeister1181 Před 3 lety

      @@jay_yo It is always the crank power that is measured for comparison. This is the official power data. The power at the wheels is used sometimes, yes, but the Toyota 2ZZ-GE in the Lotus Elise has 192 horsepower at the crankshaft. Without mentioning the wheel horsepower, it is always the crank power figure. So if he says it would've 175 horsepower, it is just wrong!
