All the dollars he claimed that he saved were bought at the black market, money that he could have used to develop the state like Lagos, no wonder Prof Soludo says some of the investment he made as governor are worth next to nothing.

There's a huge difference between stinginess and prudence. A stingy man will hold onto his money and when he decides to use it, it's only on selfish interest or even a useless spending. A prudent man on the other hand saves his money and use it for a worthy investment that benefits all. A begger, a waster, a greedy man, a selfish man will always see a prudent man as a stingy man. It takes a man of contentment to understand what prudence is all about. Peter Obi is a prudent man.

It is mind-boggling that there are still some Nigerians who do not appreciate that Nigeria is hanging on the precipice and that voting any of the blood thirsty, greedy politicians into the presidency will simply culminate in the rapid demise of that country. Why, one would ask do tbese old politicians anxious to keep recycling themselves? The reason is that they are incapable of doing anything else. They are afraid also that they have not completely covered their corrupt paths well enough should the new comers decide to probe their ill-gotten wealth. This state of affairs is deeply worrisome. Nigerians must now take a stand to use the next election to take their country back and stop being the big Tom foolery of the world.

Better a stingy man than a waster. When Lawrence Anini and Monday Osunbo were wasting money at market places in Benin, it was a clear indication that it wasn't their money, they must have stolen it from the masses that owns it. Their main objective was to buy people's favour on their side to perpetrating evils. Many poor, destitutes and vagabonds in the society who shared in their evil supported them mindless of their arttrocities. So also those politicians who are high standard theives of poor Nigerians hard earned money using it now to buy their conscience in other to help them come to the highest seat of power where they will rob Nigerians of all public assests and remain unquestioned. Nigerians, How can steal your money and seize your valuable properties and promise to assist you later?

Prof Pat Utomi please dont fall for that "stingy" label.
It is a wrong charaterisation of the act of prudence epitomised by Peter Obi.
Prof should not make the mistake of trivialising that mischievous and diabolical label. Don't associate Peter Obi with what the opposition is projecting unto him.
The man who used that word has been confined to the monastry for self cleansing.
So please dont joke with what is patently wrong.

Now because Ugochinyere Ikenga exposed Uzodinma of Ohuhu debacle, Uzodinma has sent his gun men, Ebube Ago to burn the country home Ugochinyere Ikenga and consequently, an uncle of Ikenga died in inferno. An SA of Uzodinma was caught on tape threatening Ikenga.

People were paid as due, pensions were paid and he was able to turn around the education of his state etc. The other angle to it, is to ask yourself if other governors could have done better in their states if they were stingy and not engaging in personal aggrandisement.

Nigeria did it with GSM simcards. They should replicate the same to electricity, forex and petrol. Having a mobile phone was very scarce and expensive before the advent and privatization of GSM when networks like intercellular, starcomms etc where selling phones lines for N250k , but after introduction of GSM the lines initially sold for N50k before it now dropped to N100 or FREE. Govt should remove from the budget electricity, forex subsidy, petrol subsidy, tertiary education subsidy etc and divert this money to improved security . Lets face security squarely by employing and training One million graduates to guard all the 774 local govts in Nigeria, while privatizing most of the other sectors.

If those running Lagos State are that stingy with the resources of the state and not find ways to put infrastructure in place will prof and Obi be staying there? If Obi was that good as a governor everyone supposed to be moving down there for residency and business but it's not happening cos nothing there to attract people.
