You've purchased one of the best engines for aircraft. I've know Mark for several years and he's gonna be #1 before too long. Great engine, great price, great reliability!
Did you ever finish the all metal uav/model? There are plenty of hornets on CZcams, but I think an that model may be the only one in the world built like that.
I found your channel while looking for information on the Aeromomentum engines. Am really looking forward to getting your thoughts on if this is the best powerplant available. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Great job on the build (love the mike patey nudge) Would love to know a lot more about the little one your doing, amazing you’re using same construction method! I’d say your UAV would be one of very few all metal rc aircraft of that size. I fly a lightwing that I bought from Georgetown tas and I also fly long range fixed wing uav over mobile network (ardupilot). Only electric power so far to prove the flight control and comms etc but I’ve been looking for a faster airframe (nearly all electric rc plane designs only fly about 15-25knots and with any bit of wind you’re back to walking speed and can’t fly anywhere). Need a faster airframe with an hour or more range.. you’d get huge views on that uav build if you put it on CZcams.
Hi will have to see if you can cowling that motor and make it look like a factory original not being a Rotax it might look odd like all the non Rotax versions of this plane cheers

Building mine now. Finished two flaps, two ailerons, rudder stabiliser and now working on the rudder. Your videos are inspirational. Thanks.
That’s great Chris, where are you building?

My next video should have more on the engine as I am about to start driving around the airfield without wings running the engine in. Stay tuned.

Can you share some photos of the non rotax versions?
how much pressure did you put in that fuel tank?
Not sure sorry, would not be much as it was only held with our finger
