Chadwick not an airstrip it’s an emergency RFDS strip on the national highway
А сзади дверь для багажа? Или для пассажира ? Какая грузоподъёмность у этого самолёта?
А самолёт 4 местный или 2 ?
I’m curious…one year on how is your Aeromomentum holding up? Would you choose it again?
How the Aeromomentum engine working so far?
Not pre punched, the kit not packaged for puck up. Yeah I will give it a miss.
What a great story and achievement, well done. I will be looking out for you.
Hey mate, I’ve absolutely loved the series of videos on building your Hornet. Any chance on another vid? How’s it been so far? I would love an update on how it’s been flying. Thank you for all of the great content. Cheers, Nath
This is good to see! How the Aeromomentum is working out for you, still hardly any customer feedback out there?
I always thought the hornet was as pretty as a half melted gumboot, but this is definitely an exception! Beautiful aircraft!
Worked with a WW2 pilot back in the 80's, he said something they did for fun was to take the engine cowlings off of an aircraft and see how it flew, that looks like a really good design
How do you like that engine?
Great aircraft… Great engine… And you did it with your dad….awesome!!!!
Beautiful plane!! Can you give us an update on how things are progressing with the Aeromomentum set up?
Hi, all is going well so far. I have been doing some small personal upgrades to the engine systems. I now have 75 hours on the engine.
excellent. not a lot of AM15 flying. there is a lot of interest how well this engine and PSRU will continue to perform. Thanks for posting!!
Was it a difficult process to bring the AM15 in from the US? The owner seems to have a great attitude to parts availability and its a very interesting setup
Kyle, what an awesome video and trip! If you visit Perth, let me know and you can come fly with me, cheers!
As any good sailor knows, alcohol floats
Beautiful job gentlemen! I was wondering how many hours you've accumulated so far on the aeromomentum and what your thoughts are so far?
beautiful plan!!!
Nice Video! Interesting to see the inflight refuelling system
Bloody awful music, but fantastic full circle video. Bet it brought back a few memories for your dad!
Haha, I love the music.
Well done. Still building mine. Slow going and a lot more work than I expected, but I’ll get there. Thanks for sharing.
I enjoyed seeing all your family, involved in the build, but I especially like your Dad. I have no doubt, he’s as genuine, principled and light hearted as he seems.
Nice one kyle. Love the paint scheme.
Great job and a great looking plane. Thanks for the look.
Great to see you in the sky so often. Looked rock solid acouple of days ago in what must have been a very bumpy sky. Fantastic looking aircraft with a very distinct exaust note can hear you coming a while away and always pop out for a look
Great build n the joy on ur dad's face is priceless.
Update?
Fun video but the blaring music is so unnecessary.
Did you ever finish the all metal uav/model? There are plenty of hornets on CZcams, but I think an that model may be the only one in the world built like that.
Awesome plane!! I just finished my Just Aircraft Highlander and I'm in the beginning stages of my flight testing.
How did the engine cowl turn out? very interested to see it. And a bit of video demonstrating the hornets stol performance
No cowl yet, still designing it. Will make some cool videos soon once I get the cowl on and finished the flight test period.
So, How is the engine working out? Any issues ? Temps , pressure and performance meeting expectations. Nice aircraft you built there btw.
what weight did the hornet end up?
OMG !! This looks so amazing 👍 Love from UK ❤️
I would love to see a walk around vid. Especially flight controls like flaps and trim. Does it have sight fuel gauges or electric etc.. Beautiful build!
Mate this is fantastic! I was looking to build a hornet and just got suggested your video's! Awesome to see your journey! Only thing I'm concerned about and can't seem to find good info on is what is Australian CASA rules and restrictions on homebuilt experimental aircraft once they've gone through initial testing? Can you fly with passenger and anywhere in Aus like any other LSA or do you forever get restricted? Thanks for any shared knowledge! Awesome build, looks amazing!
Dangerously inspiring legends!!! Love the father/son bonding opportunity this has given y'all.
Great job!! The plane looks great! Does the cowling fit with the Aeromomentum Engine? I've been looking at building the exact same combination.
How did you find the engines performance in flight? It sounds a bit loud but that could be the sound or no cowl?
The engine was great, not loud at all., will be a lot nicer with a cowl, especially with the airframe turbulence.
Congratulations!! I have been watching your progress. I bought an AeroMomentum engine as well. I look forward to seeing some performance numbers! Well done
Congratulations Kyle, good to see. Catch ya one day, Brian taylor
Wow nice work mate, Been watching your build since the start with some interest! Looks great, be interested to see your cruise speed once you get a cowl on it
awesome what a buzz and great work mate..
Thanks Pod
The plane looks amazing! Is there a plan for fitting a cowling? I'm not a fan of the AAK factory cowling personally so something custom would look good.. I do love the look of the engine without. Well done guys!
I am in the process of designing a cowling now in 3D. It needs a cowl, too much buffeting around the airframe. Thankyou.
Congratulations!! It's been a wonderful build story, can't wait to see you guys getting around magnificent Tas
Yet another incredible achievement Kyle. Beautiful machine. Congrats!!
Congratulations!!! Amazing accomplishment. You plane looks amazing and flies very nice. I have loved watching your videos and the father/son project come together.
I sure have enjoyed seeing so many generations of the family involved in this project. What a beautiful location you get to base from. I am especially interested in seeing the performance and reliability you get from the AeromoMomentum engine. I’m impressed with Mark Kettering and his design philosophies. His line of aircraft powerplants may just be the best available (if it fits in your cowlings). CONGRATULATIONS!!!
