Probably because he keeps buying a mix of sets. Guaranteed Supers with no Rares has only been a thing for about a year after all.
And if he's like most people he probably also doesn't know the difference between sets in general. As in the difference between what is and isn't a main set.

The 10 card pack for 50 is cool and all especially with my ability to pull the most expensive stuff (FUEN pack in them had Invocation yesterday, and all said and done I walked away with $110 worth of cards for my investment in the one that felt best) but I'd really like to know for sure what reprint pack I'm getting.
