  • Weddings in India are among the most colorful, lively and crowded in the world.

    The last act of the Indian wedding is known as the Mangalsutra Dharanam. In it, the groom puts a necklace on his partner that grants her the status of wife. She must wear the necklace for the entire duration of the marriage.
    In the eyes of society and with family and friends as witnesses, they are now officially husband and wife.
