I'm going to go ahead and imagine that jetpack guy came in on the Fisk arrival and landed on the blue dot. Lol
He could definitely do the last part more precisely than any other craft at the show. Not even the smallest helicopter could keep the landing footprint that tight!
😂
Traffic you're following is...uh...a guy. 🤣
Lmao😂
It’s purple lol.
The F4U's in formation with EA-18G's was probably the coolest thing I've seen at an air show in a long time.
Did touch and gos there back in 1998 in the BAe146 for qualification. Then 3 years later sitting reserve in ATW - drove down and sat in a hanger chatting with Bob Hoover - 1 on 1…. Still amazed at that luck!!
So, on radar, I found Doc the B-29, and whilst listening to the Oshkosh ATC, heard someone say "Enjoy your week, I don't know what day it is"
TY for posting this stuff... Did Oshkosh back in '78 (I think), with a bunch of guys from our CAP Squadron. Unbelievable time! Coolest part: met Greg Boyington.🇺🇸
Pappy
It's absolutely wild that for one week a year, a random town in Wisconsin is home to, depending on how you count, the 2nd largest air force in the world.
Yup, and l'm fortunate enough to live only an hour and a half drive from Oshkosh. I used to camp there for the whole week as a kid with my uncle who introduced me to aviation. I'm 52 years old and every time l go there l feel like a kid again, l love that place!
Thank you for this. I am stuck home in Australia this year so it sort helps my depression with this aviation fix.
Very happy to see Maryland represented here with the best CAS platform of the modern era, the A-10C of the 104th FS!!
Maryland ANG best Air Force in the U.S.
To think that we have not one, but at least two flying Mig-23 Floggers flying in the US is, at the very least, one of the coolest things.
according to the FAA we have up to 11!
Only one “flying” in the US. All others are not😃
That was NICE! It's not everyday we get to see one of those in real life.
@@a1dfiler alas this comment didn't age weil😢
People like you got me into aviation. Thanks for all the footage!
That jet pack/jet paws action looks like fun and a great way to get around town.
I dig that little yellow 'convertaplane'(?) that had the multiple rotor system that allowed it to hover to a stopped position, even shutting off the main propellor. That was really impressive. I'm assuming it's electric? And if so I wonder if battery life/milage is worth getting worked up about. Something to look into.
I rode in the Tri Motor in 1997. Cool to see it still flying!
Amazing video! Hopefully that cold front will push the smoke out. I’m going on Thursday! Very awesome aircraft, can’t wait. Also thanks a lot for posting these high quality videos so often, keeping me and many other fans entertained! -Gabe
I just went today. Smoke is gone, but expect the heat!
Love Airshowstuff
In just one of the pan views, you can see the tail of a C-123K Provider sticking up. Right around 8:00, wearing the tail code AH. This is the only flying C-123 in the world, and it's based out of a little museum in Beaver Creek, PA. I was there this week, and just missed its departure.
The Ford Tri-Motor is one of my favorite aircraft. Thank you for capturing this! One of these years I will get up there.
That P47 "Bonnie" was supposed to have flown in the show today but didn't for some reason and the blue P51 flew instead. Great recap of today's stuff.
@@kevintaylor791 Let me shoot this down right now. It is illegal to shoot at anything flying that you don't have a permit to shoot(eg ducks geese quail). It's against several federal laws to shoot at aircraft, even R/C aircraft and drones. Even if they are yours.
Hey Tao. Been watching your videos for years! Keep it up!
Wow, whoa.
The history flying around is so mind boggling.
Love this
I went last year but boy I wish I went this year bc that MiG-23 was INSANE
Was that the plane on the thumbnail?
@@billnu yup
@@zbeen-ah-lahHow loud was the MIG-23 compared to the F-16 ??
@@mraviatorboii2510 idk
Wow....looked at the link picture really quick and opened waiting to see an F-111. Imagine my surprise when it turns out to be a Mig 23 !!! Cool Stuff. And the A-! Skyraider "Naked Fanny" is based out of a local airport! NICE !!!
Absolutely loved this thanks for putting this together . Wow, whoa. The history flying around is so mind boggling. Love this.
When I was there in '92 a Fishbed showed up. Now a Flogger!
I've been to AirVenture several times and your videos really bring that experience. Thanks for sharing.
I was there yesterday I got sunburnt but being there and being a kid in a candy shop was worth it
Sweet lord that Mig-23
Fabulous display. Thanks, you made my day so much better !!!
Oshkosh is what I imagine heaven looks like.
I have it on good authority that, in his spare time, God listens to Beethoven, steam locomotive whistles and radial aircraft engines!
I love that the Bally’s Bomber made an appearance in this video!
Awesome video as always!
It’s pretty cool to see a plane that I have actually flown in (The Ford Tri-Motor).
Thank you !
Thank you for the great footage! 👍
Absolutely loved this ❤thanks for putting this together ❤❤❤
Going to the show Wednesday and Thursday time to see some cool stuff.
Thanks for your efforts, and sharing some very nice " sights and sounds " of Oshkosh. Keep'em Comin Bob. SF
Thx for being there😎
Great to see the Thruxton Jackaroo!
Absolutely loved this thanks for putting this together . Fabulous display. Thanks, you made my day so much better !!!.
All my respect and appreciate for your channel, many thanks for all efforts
Another great video, love it... Thanks guys...!!!
Holy cow the sound of that formation was nuts!
Really enjoyed that thanks.
Thanks!
I always knew Oshkosh was a cool gathering. But DANG!
I'm already planning a week-long vacation for next year's show.
How does this event work? Is there a different airshow everyday? Do you have to purchase a ticket for each airshow or is one package? I've never seen so many planes, and especially a commercial airliner, at an airshow.
65 in formation. WOW!
Nice work!
I’m still a bit worried about Barry’s C123. I’m not alone, that 123 had some issues landing and well, yeah.
👍. 🇺🇸
what is the little yellow plane that hovered and landed vertically at 5:08?
It is nice to see man has acquired the art of levitation.
Rumor has it that Tri-motor is still taxiing around…
Awesome video! Also, what is that strange yellow aircraft, and that small Delta winged aircraft?
Small one was a Dyke Delta
The yellow one is a Kitty Hawk Wisk Cora, an autonomous vehicle still in develpment.
@@alexzepeda8719 Okay, thanks.
@3:51- That's every other day at my house. Just had a pair of Strike Eagles blast over at about 300 feet at full Mil power.....
Love it.............................
Those were F-18G Growlers.
Meanwhile, the tri motor continues to taxi aimlessly around the display area. Hope it finds where it is going!
Yeah that was pretty funny….I think he was lost in all that tri radial noise!
It's beautiful out here except for wildfire smoke. Great video to.
I'm so envious that you've been able to attend this show... wish I could be there!
Of all the years driving by the place, its amassing of all the campers I see while driving by
it seems like not long ago I finally finished watching all the videos from last year lol
I was pausing a lot to look up the N numbers. Never seen the Dyke Delta JD-2 before. Cool!!
Love watching the Skyraiders rollin around
"Naked Fanny" LOL!
Yea different meaning in Australian and Uk!
It's derived from Nakhon Phanom (sp?) In Vietnam I think
Great video….
Been flying since 1973 and still haven’t made it there.
Thanks for the awesome footage! I still find it so weird to see those jetpacks. I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's the dangling legs, maybe it's the disappointment that the real deal doesn't look as clean and effortless as we imagined in the Hollywood.
Man it really looks hazy. Still smoke from canada I guess? Great footage, as always!
Yup. Not too bad today tho
👍👍👍
WISK CORA GEN 5 😍😍
The jetpack takes the cake. Thunderball for the win!
That looks like a great airshow I wish you could have put some type on the video to tell us what those planes were
Cool Mig23
The dude with the jet packs must have some serious arm strength.
JT Corsair. Good 2 see Jim.
3:57 this guy needs to paint his plane flat black to have a mini b2!
2:19 WW2 sound
awesome!
question, will you be coming to the airshow in Sioux Falls, SD?
No, not planning on that one
funny enough, plans changed for me, so i cant go either :(
nice
What's the plane at 3:57? I really want to learn more about it.
EDIT: It's a Dyke Delta.
Who owns the Mig 23 at the opening of the video?
My daughter but she lets me fly it👍
What is the first plane in the video?
179th new subscriber LIKE; 2,771st view via desktop studio... here we go... 1:46 - the good stuff.
6:48 - geez, that thing looks like a flying peanut m&m's candy. Makin' me hungry just watching that thing.
What about the mini b17? 😮
jet pack looks cool BUT I've had enough broken bones thank you. I say the same thing about cliff diving and supermodels.
what was the yellow plane that was hovering
What were the planes flying very high??
The speed in which the gear retracted on "the spaceship" is so odd
It’s manual. The pilot just yanks it up.
Boinngggg!
What was the first her?
Please add aircraft info into the video
WISH YOU WERE HERE
JET MAN!
Oh, that scale B-17 is for sale?
nice video, aerobatics show
OUTSTANDING!!!❤
That's an S load of planes formation flying. What was the very first jet. Thx
Mig 23
Holy smokes, the scaled B-17 is being sold? I kind of know the start of that planes story, but I wouldn't mind an update. A bit heartbreaking, the idea of designing and building something you know you'll never fly.
Is the Kitty Hawk Wisk manned yet, or just a big (presumably light) RC model?
Is that that vertical landing yellow thing?
@@AndreiTupolev Yes, that's it.
It was flown unmanned autonomously for this demonstration
@@timgarrett203 Any idea if it was loaded anywhere near having people in it, or is it just an empty shell to demonstrate the concept?
@@Colin_Holloway not sure. Was watching this live and the announcer didn’t say.
B-17's are still grounded because of of issues with the wing spar?
Pretty much a "Wow".
A freaking mig 23 and a p47... never seen the first and its gotta be damn near 15 since the later and I'm out of town cause family. Damit man...
How loud is the MIG-23 ?? Let’s say compared to U.S Fighters ??
In my opinion only the F35 is louder
@@a1dfiler MIG-23 is louder than even the F-22 ??
Thank you for making me even more pissed off that I am missing the flogger and the dragon lady this year 😢
What was the 1st jet?
Not positive but I think it's a RAF Tornado
No sorry it's a mig--23
@@chrishamilton7989 Tornado was my 1st thought till it turned, then I knew it wasn't.
