gotta appreciate how they literally recreated the stone stove and bowl FROM the game and put it to use irl, and their outfits match too
the amount of effort and attention to detail that went into this 4 minute video is insane
Not to discredit the details and effort made by HYV, but the stone stove setup is a pretty traditional Chinese kitchen, and the clay pot is a common item for a lot of Chinese dishes :)
Really, it’s the other way. They took the stone stove and bowl IRL and recreated in the game, although I bet the set designers for this video looked specifically for cookware that mimicked the digital version for maximum crossover feeling

For those who don't know, this is literally Zhongli's signature dish. Like they're even using the same plating style, and the bowl it comes on is literally the one on the illustration in the game.
I love all the tiny details: the kitchen, ASMR, and how they started at daytime and ended at night.

I can’t speak for the dishes from other nations but most of Liyue’s food items are real and aren’t hard to find in authentic Chinese restaurants.
Genshin impact has already collaborated with KFC and Pizza Hut in China, and there are also collaborated restaurants in Japan. So come to China or Japan
you would need a genchin impact theme park for that 😉

That would be great! I want to make Almond Tofu but I can not find Osmanthus leaves anywhere. We only found one store where they even knew it existed!

@@evobrand1210 you don't use osmanthus leaves in almond tofu. You use osmanthus flower jam. It should be readily available in any Chinese grocery store. You can also get it online in most parts of the world

Mihoyo!! I cannot express how badly I need more videos like this! I'm an avid recipe collector in-game and have mastered all but a couple Sumeru dishes. I've even made real life Puppy Paw Hashbrowns and Mixed Yakisoba! Please make more cooking videos like this!

As a Genshin Impact player who is also a Malaysian Chinese, it gives me memories seeing the ingredients and cooking techniques used for Bamboo Shoot Soup been similar to what I usually eat. Ofc liyue cuisine is inspired by Chinese cuisine.

I’m not malaysian chinese, but this dish is really classic to my hometown- Shanghai (腌笃鲜 is a traditional dish in Jiangnan region of China which includes Shanghai, and parts of Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang). My mom used to make it a lot during winter (our region used winter bamboo shoots aka 冬笋), watching this video brings back many nostalgic memories to me.

As a person growing up in Shanghai, China, currently living in US, this brings back childhood memories of my dad cooking the exact same dish. Highly recommend trying this soup. I would say I had this soup a lot growing up and it’s great every single time.
