I don’t even remember how many times I’ve been touched inappropriately since I was 7 years old. It has been so hard for me to trust anyone even now, there are times when I get anxious even around my own male family members & friends. My father still doesn’t know what happened but I’m still not sure if he’ll understand. If someone shares their story with you, don’t let them believe it was their fault. Our words really hold more power than what we think.

I am 17 years old and I am glad that my parents always taught me these things and I could stay away from these painful things I can't even imagine what those children have to go through ! I feel so sorry for them !And I promise after years when I become a parent I will always trust my child and teach them evrything And always protect them from this cruel world ! Now it had been 10 years but still those memories are still are clear Like a nightmare ..I want to share what happened with me with my parents but I never did .. I'd shared this with my close friends ..just to feel light but I never told this to my parents ..I feel like they won't understand or maybe they will put limitations in my life in the name of security ....to all the girls and boys here ...may God protect you ..be strong 🙏

In the above cases d abuse was done by some adults. In my case, i was abused(at age 5) by a teenager(a cousin, whom my parents trusted..n had left me with him alone as they had to go somewhere). Teenagers shud understand that hormonal changes r obvious..everyone goes through it..but, "Hormones cannot destroy our basic humanitarian values..n do evil..especially to an innocent child or anybody". Boys must aim to become a gentlemen..every human must learn to become a human first.

I was sexually, emotionally and physically abused when I was 7 or 8 years old. I can clearly remembere how he had beaten me and told not to tell anyone otherwise i will harm you more. That physical abuse is not there anymore but emotional damage can harm you life long i must say.
How did you overcome that trauma

I am a male i also had been sexually abused during my childhood by multiple people my own cousin brother, house servant and by a man who lived in our house on rent. My family lived in a joint family My sexual abuse started from the age of 2-3 as far as i can remember lasted until the my age of 14 My sexual abuse started wheni even didnot know/understood what it was happening with me didnot tell anyone about these incident as i was very scared of what my mom,my father, my friends would think about me.. so kept silent. the sex abuse stopped after of cousin brother went to work outside the country. I felt regret, disgrace-felt my body was not mine .. my self esteem broken. Living life with shattered confidence.I used to feel i had no self- worth. Having few friends, shy life.. I didnt know who to blame.i felt it was all my fault. i never wanted to respect mysel.. but slowly realised that it was not my fault.. it was the fault of those who did this to me .. they are the ones to be blamed ..i am now 27 .i have been learning to love myself.. treat myself.. finding to respect myself.. give myself time to heal. spend sometime alone understanding myself my wishes my desires all this time that i had thought that i did not deserved and above all as you said learning to forgive my abusers and bless myself. Now i want to take the control of my present to write my future. I am so touched with the story .. i do feel your tears and believe your story.. i see them sooo strong..my story seems spec of dusk in front of your .. their strength of words and action to tackle your problem has given strength in me, To survive, to live, to love, to be happy and thank ful for what happened to my life... my blessing are with you.. my respect grown for you after heard your story because i have never faced so much problem in life as you have.. if we share and open up this silent side of ourselves ,We can be the power to fight these problems in our society through our writing.. this will become the voice for the demons of our society.At last speaking will make us complete ..

Wow,finally a show that addresses the more serious social problems.I just don't understand,just don't know how people can do such things to children and am sure they don't even think of the consequences before doing so.At least soch toh lena chahiye ki unhe kya mehsoos hoga agar unke bachche ke saath yeh hota toh unhe aur unke bachcho ko kya mehsoos hoga.Can't agree more with Dr Mitra who said it happens more with children whose parents care for more about what the society will think and say than for their own children.Ideally stringent laws must be formed and implemented.And if children are to be left alone with a nanny or tutor or some other outsider unknown then cctv camera must be installed on high ceilings in such a manner that the whole room and parts of its surroundings can be seen at once.Hatts of to those who came on national television to share their experiences and stories because its not just courage needed to do so
