Here I am, 6 years later, looking at everything back in 1.9, so much nostalgia.....
1.9 is like the 80's of gd

i'm so young i can't miss 1.9, but its just kinda good anyways. For example, Making a level styled like it is fun and managable, which is why i'm doing so. The restrictions of the era also have a lot of fun side effects: the rainbow colors in cosmic collisions are imperfect because they're hand-picked (no hsv), player colors are used for more color, and that one shade of greenish off-yellow in nine circles has no reason to be there but is 1.9y anyways.
1.9 was also so short that the rarity of its content makes it subjectively better. plus they got to use pirated dubstep

Saki pen Hell is not THAT hard, and if you are going to include that your de might as well add silent club step, silent club, silent machine, elite z, deadly silent club, etc. in front of it
honestly i miss how short these levels used to be. feels like all extreme demons have to be XL nowadays

Hi I am from 2.1. 2.2 isn't out yet after 5 years😥. I see those levels and they look easy compared to silent clubstep, Abyss of darkness and slaughterhouse. Over time, extreme demons are harder!

I'm surprised where Stalemate placed, maybe since many 60hz players were around I could understand. The level is rough on 60 but on anything better it's fun imo
it's still pretty high up tbh but still very hare on 60hz nonetheless

I fluked 97 from somewhere around 50% (can't remember the exact %) and later died to those ship parts a few times. The mini ship is so tight even for me on 144hz it was rather hard to navigate through in my first time practicing

When your watching this in 2k18 and bloodlust is the hardest demon it gives me good memories came in the game about when clutterfunk was the last robtop level
boi i miss when bloodbath was the hardest demon and other stuff like silent clubstep was "impossible." if you were a pro at the game, that meant that you had beaten bloodbath. we had legends like zobros who was a little annoying but undeniably good, cyclic who apparently could beat every demon around, riot with his video of him verifying bloodbath, minesap, etc. nowadays the hardest levels are only beatable if you devote your entire life to geometry dash and piss in bottles at your computer trying to jitterclick on your 500 Hz monitor and the best we have is some tool named "dolphy" who thinks he can beat silent circles. i personally think the 2.0 update was shit because all the levels after 2.0 were moving objects and glow galore. pick any featured level from 2.0 days and try to sight read it, good luck because everything has to move and the level is full of glowing clutter that looks like platforms or jump orbs but isn't. and then 2.1 came which wasn't too bad to be honest. i actually kind of like 2.1. but i miss the 1.9 levels and the people who were playing in the 1.9 days
the music in stalemate sounds like a remix to that haunted place in one of the pokemons with that creepy music

The person who verified it was Legend, so technically he gets credit for making the level. That's how it's always been. The person who verifies the level gets credit for it. Like with Krazyman50 and Phobos. He got credit for the level even though he wasn't part of the collab that created it.
But that's different. Phobos is on Krazy's account. But Sakupen Hell was on Noobas' account.
