it reminds me of when the morrigan dropped in smite, she could mimic a player in the match. it was so random she was not usable in competitive modes, but it was a super fun concept, people played her a lot
@@Miscelanou but his supers unreliable at times. Imagine needing the healing and you instead get the wall break one. The poprock(one similar to spikes) is really underpowered compared to the other supers ones because you need the enemy to practically be next to Chester. I think the main thing that hurts him is just the instability of what super is coming. I think he’ll be fine though, not broken. Compared to grey who can change the map entirely with a wall break gadget and teleportation, Chester just seems like another dps. This is before I saw his gadgets and star powers so that might change my mind.

Chester seems to be pretty fun to play with, his design is really cool, the voice actor is pretty cool too, he might be my newest favorite legendary brawler, congrats to the brawl stars team for this one.
I can tell this brawler showcase took the longest seeing how his abilities are so unpredictable yet so useful in certain situations.

I love how supercell's goal for this update was to remove all randomness and probability from the game yet they release a brawl that is all about randomness from his super to his gadgets.

I think chester is the first brawler where any star power and gadget combination works

His 4 ammo one is still better even if it's for only one ammo
You can play him totally random with the four shots star power and the random buff gadget
Or you can play him with more control of your super, with the star power that reveals the super and the gadget that switch super
@@mighty193 Not necesaarily, being able to see the super you are charging allows you to prep yourself to be 1 hit away from super, and choose to engage differently based on that, e.g you know your stun hit is charging, you could approach a bull and hit->super->kill at close range.
The extra damage from the first star power most are gonna say is better
But there is a lot of potential with the second star power
Same with the gadgets

I actually had a similar brawler concept but it was themed around ash’s trio. There would be a wizard, and for his main attack would randomly fire a long range ball of fire that would burn overtime, a long range ball of ice that slow overtime, and a long range attack of dark matter which would damage the enemy and heal the wizard for 25% of the attack, the supers would either be a giant ball of fire, an ice thing like Lou’s super, or just healing. It’s cool to see my idea sort of come to the game.
i think chester's gadgets and star powers are the most balanced to each other
I wish more star powers and gadgets were balanced to each other. 😢 I feel like they neglect star power and gadget balancing, and focus more on base brawler balancing.

Kairos said that he could have tried for the best result in the boss test but the fact that his mint super only appeared ONCE in the entire boss test tells me it's one of the best case scenarios Kairos could have gotten

4:34 I think this should not be a star power but a mythic gear for Jester. Becouse the star power should be something that adds some sort of another ability, not just seeing what your next super will be. And also as a gear it would give more value to it.

This is going to be my secondary, with crow being primary. I LOVE his randomness. Also his voice is PERFECT. He has that perfect sass that I like. Also 15:55 is my favorite line. I know it feels like I’m rambling on but Chester is SO COOL!

His Voiclines are just so good. Such a good job. Excited for him getting released
Chester should be all about unpredictability, but not necessarily RNG.
I think his Super would be better if Strong Mint were removed and it cycled through the 4 damaging ones. Then each could correspond with the amount of full ammo he has (none full, 1 bar, 2 bars and all bars full). That way it would remove the RNG and still be hard to read for your enemies and has the added benefit of making him even more dynamic as he wouldn't have to hold onto a Super he doesn't want for too long.
For this idea to work his 2nd SP and Spicy Dice gadget would also need changes but I'm all for it if it means we can keep Chester's essence minus the RNG.

Chester's star powers are reliability vs raw damage. I think for pro play the second star power would be the go to, but most players will do better with the first star power.
I’m thinking the best start for Chester is too unload two shots at the-beginning, if you have 1st sp, meaning you start with 3 then 4 and just unload one for his second starpower, his randomness could be used against the enemy and not yourself

Playing Chester is gonna be really hard, but rewarding i think. I feel like his sneak peek star power is gonna be better, cause you know if you want to make aggresive plays, defend, attack kr anything in between
Chester seems so fun to play,the only reason i didn't unlock him on launch is because i really wanted mortis
Honestly, I think this brawler is going to need to be worked on in some way.
Playing as him will probably lead to some interesting gameplay, since you will need to adapt how you play depending on what super you get.
However, I feel like playing against him will be frustrating, since you won't know what ability he has, and will have to respect the possibility of all 5 supers at the same time.
While it may be possible to tell what super he has based on how he is playing, good players will be able to hide which super they have until the moment they use it. This leads to very little counterplay in the game. (eg. playing passive and making an assassin think you have candy popper, when you actually have jawbreaker, then stun and kill them, or aggressively running forwards, making them think you have jawbreaker, salmiakki, or strong mint, when you actually just have candy popper)
Don't get me wrong, this does mean that the chester player has a very high skill ceiling, it's just that it also means that there's very little counterplay.

Most pros probably won't like Chester due to his ability to be so unpredictable. Most regular players would love him though due to him being so unpredictable. Chester is the definition of unpredictable.

Firstly Chester is OP, especially at brawl ball wich I have been playing a lot with him. Do want to confirm potential bug, everytime a goal is scored(brawl ball) while Chester has his ult, the respawn ult is not random anymore. Its always gonna be the throwing ult(the one like dinamike)
i not only think that chester is the most interesting brawler this season, but i also think that i will main him. Chesters randomness will make it fun playing brawl stars again

Gadget idea for Chester
(Melty explosives)
Chester's next attack will throw an explode chocolate ball with a small range and slow enemies for 0.5 seconds (does work with his second and third attack and the slow effect will stake but it won't work of his bell'o'mania starpower on the fourth shot)
Chester is definitely the brawler I am most excited for! I think he might be my new favorite brawler once I get him!

I really like the salmiakki super idea 😂 In Finland we have this sour liquorice candy wich usually foreigners WILL be made to try it. It's really salty and foreigners wont usually like it. Mostly Finnish people are the only ones liking it 🙂
the problem with these kinds of brawlers is just that the best kinds of characters in any semi fighting game are the consistant ones, think lucina from ssbu. Characters that are the opposite of consistant and rely on luck are generally worse off (Hero in ssbu)

I think Chester is a wildcard but does have limits like his range that changes & his super but his strength is with the damage from both super and his health or depends who hes up against

I think having a hard hitting super is good since he only does 1080 per candy hit and that gadget giving random stat boost is the coolest gadget ever added it’s so dope and since it’s a gadget and it’s limited I think it would be cool if they throw in invisibility to the magic beans cause it’s random and it’s a post it I’ve boost
One thing I love about Chester is that all his supers all have a different effect, the bomb has knockback and breaking walls, the popping candy has slow, the poison cloud, the healing, and the stun shot
