I have to take Iga to win. She's never lost a grand slam final, and it's as if she was destined to make history this year. She has played like she's on a mission.

@andyc7011 Paolini would never have won against Rybakina if Rybakina was in good shape. I think she was ill. Same case with Andreeva vs an ill Sabalenka but Andreeva never even hinted at that in the press conference. Andreeva and Paolini were very lucky to get to the semi's.
Kind of "Polish" Finale. Paolini played better and better throughout the tournament (She is on the wave), Świątek is a little bit tired but still she is "queen of clay", so that is intreasting how this final will be look. Hope it's gonna be epic!

Iga in 2. Paolini is in good form but playing against player like Iga in clay is entirely a different ball game. Also it’s her first slam final which will make her nervous. Iga could win easily her 4th French open with score like 6-2 6-1.

Jasmine Paolini is having the best season of her life, but she probably won't beat Iga on clay. Iga would have to have a very bad day to lose the final. Anyway, it's a Polish match, because Paolini is half Polish ;)

Things can always get worse
Final is a huge match and any one sustaining the pressure, playing aggressive tennis and playing pressure points well can win. Chances of Iga seems more being relatively more experienced and her confidence sky high after winning a thriller against Osaka.

How good was Osaka vs Świątek? Świątek lost 17 games and a set vs Osaka. In all other 5 matches she lost 17 games only.

Even though Paolini has won one WTA 1000 title this year, it can't compare to the pressure of a Grand Slam final. On the other hand, Iga herself has experience in Reaching the finals 25 times and becoming champions 21 times, 4 of them were Grand Slam level pressures. So the final at RG 2024 may not be too easy for Iga, but I still believe she will win her fifth Grand Slam title.
I think if Iga doesn’t get nervous because of what she is playing for (3rd in a row, Madrid, Rome and Rg in the same season) she should win this

It's clear that Iga will win; but I feel like many comments in the comment section are discrediting Paolini's efforts to get to this stage. Everyone including me was expecting another Swiatek- Sebalenka match in the final, but unfortunately she lost in the Quarter finals. Paolini has been pretty impressive in the last few rounds and has clearly improved a lot. It'll be a straight set victory but it'll probably her toughest match since the one agaist Osaka
