a CDL is determined by not only length, but weight, over 26k,total wieght,or more requires a cdl.

I have a 2012 cab & chassis with the detuned Cummins also setup with flatbed, towing performance is greatly reduced and mileage towing is usually 7 - 9 mpg, at least these trucks could be offered with the high hp and torque version as an option

this is a regular truck...you do not need a cdl to drive a truck...you do however need a cdl if you're going to tow a trailer longer than 40ft

The chassis cabs do not get the high HP/Torque cummins. I think the torque on these engines is 660. its all because of EPA bullshit.

On cummins, tq is 750. And it has nothing to do with EPA...the engines are detuned for purposes of longevity
