Is there any fight in Floyd's pro career you thought he should've lost?
Love the show shannon, big fan of yours, all luv man, your a true legend. I hope to reach my dream to get to the NFL, you have a big impact on my life.🔒🖤
Manny Pacquiao
Castillo is the only person who may have got Floyd but like the champ he is thats also why he gave him one of the only rematches of Floyds career and the 2nd bout was not in question
He should’ve lost against Maidana, Castillo, Pacquiao , AND De La Hoya
@@willyoung4533 You're a hater if you really thought he lost all of those fights. You have to be ridiculously biased or not know the scoring system to think he lost to Pacquiao and De La Hoya.
Those early Ls we take in life set us up for greater comebacks. Seen many a champion come from hard humbling falls early in their life.
too bad it wasnt a loss...these refs be counting flurries like they're knock downs.....floyd easily won
Shannon Sharpe actually knows a lot about boxing. Wished they did more boxing segments.
Yea I didn't know but man I love hearing him talk boxing
Shannon and Max in a boxing debate would be cool to watch if that ever happened
At 50-0 with the tough competition he’s basically ran through, I have to say Floyd is the goat
Ran through Castillo?

@ArSenal ForlifE Of all time, buddy.
No one's done it cleaner than he.
@@josephsmiley1 Bruh if this was real floyd would have had his one loss against castillo
@@Sleep_Rejuvenation Nah, there's still guys like Manny Pacquiao, Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Roy Jones Jr, Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson. When Manny fought Floyd, he was out of his prime and had a broken shoulder. Floyd also lost to Jose Luis Castillo in the 1st fight, but Floyd won the 2nd. The first match of them was an obvious win for Jose, but the judges were corrupt. Floyd also lost to an Oscar De La Hoya, but again the judges were biased. When Floyd fought Oscar De La Hoya, Oscar's career was already declining, yet he still managed to defeat Floyd.
Did he say 17 fights in 2 years?!!

7 times in 1998, he was ACTIVE

@@blazerbanderas That wasn't a professional fight. He had 84 wins and 8 losses as an amateur. He went 50 and 0 as a pro.
Time and time again this is worth watching nonstop. Great job Shannon Sharpe thanks for making this channel to watch.
That’s crazy af if you think about it . The dude who beat Floyd is now homeless meanwhile Floyd worked so hard to become the best ever .
Might be a testament to the American "dream" vs Russia but the other dude was older so maybe his post Olympic journey didn't fly too far, who knows how his life went
*It’s Floyd’s character that makes people hate him but other than that he’s great.*
He’s gladly embraced his role as a villain in the sport but he hasn’t always been like that. I feel like In majority of his post fight interviews he’s pretty much always given credit to whoever he’s fought and been respectful for the most part before and after he became money mayweather and I think that’s the real Floyd but anybody who knows their worth and is confident in themselves like he is you’re gonna have people coming for you regardless so why not become the bad guy especially if you’re getting paid for it.
He's paid to BOX not 2 be who the FLIP FLOP DICKRIDING FANATICS want him to be💯💯💯💯💯

He has stated so many times..."Money Mayweather" is a character
He has that personality because it sells but generally he isn’t like that, people need to learn how to recognize a online persona and what people are like in real life
If I was In Floyd’s shoes I would find that guy he lost to in the Olympics and take care of him by getting him a place to stay and give him a job. In a weird way he drove Floyd to be great.
Before I finished reading your comment I thought you were going to say Floyd should find him and challenge him to a rematch😂😂

Great motivation from Floyd for all people no matter the profession. 💪🥊

When Stogianov beat Floyd Mayweather, the American federation of boxing offered him to fight for the Americans, and Stogianov set no , she simply turned offer and said no. Floyd Mayweather is everything he is today because of the guy that turned the offer down. They propose to the German fighter and then she said no. There last option was Floyd Mayweather. Most of you don't know what I'm talking about. Floyd Mayweather knows everything at talking about word-by-word.
He is right about the Loma and Crawford comparison though. No way Loma is better than Crawford 💯.

In 1998 floyd fought 34% of his career in less than 2 years 😂😂😂 its so obvious that he is a businessman before a boxer
Because at that time he wasn't world champion so he stayed as active as possible in order to get a title shot fast since he wanted to because world champ at a young age.

People get it twisted with floyd because of the hate. This dude was a great Ametur and thru pretty boy floyd he was OMG that dude
He lost a highly questionable/controversial decision in the '96 Olympic semis to a Bulgarian.
He lost to Augie Sanchez in a very close decision in the qualifiers, but beat Sanchez twice that same month to earn a spot on the Olympic team.
In December 1995 he lost to a Georgian named Trigran Oezlian in what appears to have been the first round of a tournament by walkover. Essentially forfeit, and I'm not sure of the circumstances.
In May of that year, he lost to an Algerian named Nouredine Medjihoud 8 points to 6 in the World Championships. That same month, he had lost to Juan Carlos Ramirez in a USA vs. Mexico event. At some point that same year, he also lost to fellow American Carlos Navarro and apparently failed to qualify for the Pan Am games in doing so.
He lost a decision 2 rounds to 1 against Juan Martin Castillo in another US vs. Mexico event in November 1994 in Vegas. Also in '94, he lost a Jr. National Tournament match to Arnulfo Bravo, and settled for the bronze.
That actually makes 8 official losses if you count the walkover, which I don't think most sources do.
You the goat for this
But didnt he redeem some of his losses?
@@cfwcheeze Why would he need to?
They're irrelevant to his professional career.
@@josephsmiley1 Ik this. I was just pointing out the fact he left out Floyd avenged some of those losses before turning pro. He didnt tell the whole story.

Shannon Sharpe is looking like a blaxk version of Dwayne Johnso..
Who do most of the legends I hear about seem to have an Olympic story where they didn't get the gold?
Floyd was about to drop some gems on Bob Arum amd top rank before Shay interrupted him...smh
Just to be clear, the guy Floyd lost to in the Olympics is a Bulgarian boxer named Serafim Todorov. One of the best boxers ever to come out of Bulgaria, and HE IS NOT HOMELESS. Yeah, he isn't wealthy like Floyd is now, and he didn't fully realize his career as he could have, but he has a home, a family and a normal life. So that story y'all read that said he is "somewhat homeless", is completely false.
First maidana fight
I was all the way with my nephew until he spoke about Rolly. Rolly need to sit down. Learn less yelling and more movement. Rolly flat footed and stiff asf. He was gifted that title. He’s like the Walmart Danny Garcia
That is the same thing Roy Jones jr said he was so mad he got robbed in the 1988 Olympics he had to prove that he was the best boxer ever when he turned Pro
Floyd did that so you fighters wouldnt have to go through that
Floyd's way of speaking made me nervous. Can't finish a sentence without pausing.
The pauses means he’s thinking
I'm not saying he's not mentally healthy. But it is disruptive to the flow of the interview imo.
