Watching this again almost 4 years later brings back so many memories, I remember my grandpa screaming and cheering when ever there's a good run from a springbok😂 I remember how this world cup win brought our country together😅 I will never forget the memories of that !

I remember it well too. How well we performed in the semi final against NZ just to be blown away by this monster SA scrum and incredible line speed in defence! You were class that day. The forwards were just too hard to handle and tries just put the nails in the coffin.
@@joshrees1985 and 2007!!! I remember in the 2007 final me and my mates shouting Shosholoza over the balcony, and hearing a few houses screaming back Ku lezontaba!!! And it went back and forth. We didnt know the lyrics but knew the tune and it worked out deliciously. Haha.
I watched it live and the atmosphere was incredible. I did have to sell a kidney tho😂😂. The admin finally accepted defeat and posted it

The 27 phases defense of the Boks is whatbroke the England teams spirit. You could literally see it on their faces. They couldn't believe they didn't get through that defense. That's where the boks won that game

Indeed. I remember how nervous I was about that heading into the game. If I recall corectly Jerome Garcias had the whistle in the Boks vs NZ pool game and had a howler at scrum time in that outing.

Well you should atleast watch the first 16 minutes because it took that long for the ref to finally penalize the English for collapsing the scrum after doing so atleast 4 or 5 times with the ref watching. But after that he was better, but no way perfect. Being a nzer I watch for the cheating

1995 was special for so many reasons, 2007 was great, especially the final. But 2019, from where we were, where we got to, and what it meant to us as a nation... just next level.

Great feeling seeing how great the boys did, AM was actually involved in both tries! It was a blood bath!!! We watched this game with our friends at a pub with a big screen. It was the experience of a lifetime, I have not watched a single rugby game since as there is no point - will never experience the ambiance and atmosphere that I did that November 2019. What a day!!!

This has been a long time coming to be uploaded and it pains me as an England supporter to see but what a beautiful moment for SA. My heritage is in Pretoria and after watching chasing the sun every Saffa part of me understood what this victory meant.
I would still loved to have seen how it it could have gone had Sinkler not gone off so early.

Sinkler was definitely a big loss. As a Bok supporter I was sad to see him go so early, if we're going to win big it should be against the best opposition. However England had a phenomenal game against NZ and can rightly be remembered as top tier in that year. The final must have been absolutely brutal viewing. Or, as Bok supporters will confirm, a giddy sporting high. Now I'm I'm so intrigued to see what Eddie does with Aus
Will definitely be interesting. When Eddie is head coach he seems to have a big initial impact and improvement in performance which then drops back over time. So the timing is good for this world cup for Australia and him.
