My grandmother just finished her Radium treatment for lung cancer last week. They say the tumor hasn't spread and are fairly happy. All we can do is hope though

How's your grandmother doing? I've been researching lung cancer, and found a study from England that showed 100% of lung cancer patients were infected with a fungus-like parasite, toxoplasma gondii. It spreads through the lungs by coating itself with sugar from the blood stream, and is protected from the immune system with a thick layer of fat. It replicates via the amino acid arginine but it's destroyed by arachidonic acid. I had all these symptoms and was diagnosed with asthma for years. How is your sister doing? That's the worst part of Lung Cancer, it's usually caught by fluke (as was mine) or at Stage 4. Hope they were able to come up with a treatment plan, I imagine she is fairly young. If I may ask did/does she smoke?
My mother smoked for over 50 years and got just about everything you can get from cigarettes...except lung cancer! Don't know how she missed that one, but the other smoking related illnesses eventually killed her in 2003. The anniversary of her death is coming up in June. It was only in the last ten years of her life that she stopped smoking. I never smoked, but spent most of my life exposed to second hand smoke from her. I try very hard not to dwell on the fact that this has put me in a high risk category, but my brush with uterine cancer doesn't help ease my worries much. The only good thing that came of it was that, although a very bad type of cancer, my docs caught it early, so after a complete hysterectomy in late 2005, followed by 3 radiation treatments, I have not had any cancer symptoms since then. It's been almost 20 years since the surgery. They say if you survive the first 5 years after completing treatment, without a recurrence, then you are considered to be cured. That's great regarding my uterine cancer, but I still worry about my lungs. I guess that will always be with me.
Please people, if you don't smoke, don't start. If you do smoke, give it up. The smoker isn't the only one at risk. Everyone around them gets exposed to the toxic waste products in every puff.

When I quit smoking by week 4 I would wake up out of a deep sleep and just would cough up snot for about a month. Then no problems since then. I have not smoked for 3 years or 4 it's hard to remember.

@Papa_ji_786 Don't panic, it goes away. It's mostly due to anxiety and stress. It will stop happening if you stop being anxious. It stopped for me because I don't have that much stress anymore

Smokers are naive about this ever happening. Me myself I am, but recently I’ve been feeling the slow creep up of smoking affecting me. I’m not a “professional smoker”, I call myself a “phase smoker” I’ll quit for a few months then go back on them, recently though I’ve been wheezing a bit. I’ll then stop completely for a bit then probably start again. I’ve done it the same since I was 18 or so
When I do stop I always think “yep this is the time” Then I get bored of quitting
I know there’s absolutely nothing good about it, on the flip side I think if I fancy it I’ll do it, life’s too short kind of thing

It is now 3 days since my mom have been diagnosed with lung cancer, on a advanced stage. She got all symptoms as indicated on the video. My grandfather has these symptoms from last 40 years and he smokes too much but still works in the farm like a beast maybe old people are built different. (He's 85 years btw.)
And no he isn't diagnosed with asthma or cancer.

He's got good genes. I know a person who smokes a pack daily and drinks alcohol on weekends and he's doing better than most people who don't smoke and drink.

Ive had a sore throat and chest on my right side for 2 months but no cough and now and again and I would bring up jelly with black bits and the pain goes into my shoulders the pain would go away for a couple of days then come back. I was convinced it was lung cancer because I'm a heavy smoker and I smoke a lot of weed which then made me have bad anxiety its so sore deep into the right lung. I got rushed into hospital had x ray and blood tests and they couldn't find anything they put it down to acid reflux and anxiety I did have high sugar levels which I have to follow up with my doctor. 2 days after the hospital the soreness has come back going to change my diet and quit smoking and hope I start to get better soon. If anyone else has had these symptoms please comment as I don't know what else to do

My father is having consolidation on the right lung upper side. He has been admitted in three hospitals, but we didn't get the exact result from what disease he is suffering from. Doctors say there must be T.B or tumor but not confirm exactly.. Sputum, C.B naat, culture, Bal all these tests have been done but T.B not detected. He is 77 yrs old. Can anyone advise what we should do to confirm the exact disease ??

I am having upper back pain, pain in uper spine and pain in chest and ribs from last 7-8 months. My back xray is normal. Feels pain in mid chest while sneezing and deep breath. No cough at all. No hoarse voice. My all blood test are normal for vitamins. Pls guide me what will be the reason..
Some cancers are hard to see on x-rays and even MRI scans although it sounds more like side effects from the jab

Go see a doctor and tell them your symptoms. If they don’t order a chest xray for you, tell them you want one. This and some bloodwork is the place to start.

I smoked everyday from 19 to 21 and it’s been a year since I’ve stopped after I had a sudden first time panic attack… but now I have trouble breathing and shortness of breathe and a pain as if it were at the end edge of my left lung towards the right… and now I am coughing and don’t have insurance to check.. I’ve had heart palpitations as well and they don’t want to do any testing on me because I have no insurance and been to the emergency room so many times and all they do is an X-ray to my chest and never find anybting wrong with me chest, could it be anxiety?? Hi, i started smoking weed/tobacco/vapes everyday at 16 and im 18 in 3weeks, recently i've had all the symptoms you have had, some heart palpitations, tight pressure sensations in the middle of my chest, some restlessness and an almost panic attack-like feeling or kinda like a spasm, shortness of breath too. i dont smoke weed anymore but the odd occasion i have some tokes it gets 10x worse. i am trying to stop smoking in general but if you do find out what's wrong please let me know it would be much appreciated
if your symptoms started after smoking and having a panic attack, those symptoms could definitely be caused by anxiety. people underestimate the power of anxiety and it's ability to trick us into feeling like there is something wrong. are you anxious when you have these symptoms, do you have these symptoms all the time? If you have had a chest X-ray and doctors have listened to your breathing, it is likely not something in your lungs. I'm not a doctor or anything, but I've had similar experiences from anxiety. There is medication that can help with it (not benzos) and also techniques like mindfulness that have helped me a ton.
@@danielchris7894 if you are experiencing intense anxiety when you smoke, then you are playing with fire. not trying to say weed is bad, just that it affects people differently. there are many cases of people severely damaging their mental health from bad trips (myself included). I started smoking weed again several years after my experience, and it has been fine. but i have friends with similar experiences to what you described, and they will not touch weed even though they smoked it every day for years. just be careful dude. once you lose your mental health there really is no going back.
