Würde auch mal behaupten, dass der ST mit Handschalter schneller ist, als der ST mit DSG. Finde diese Übersetzung vom ST mit DSG komisch. Der Handschalter ist auf einem Level mit dem i30N. Aber die DSG Variante vom ST ist z.B. beim Thema 100-200 auch über 1 Sekunden langsamer als der i30N. Mit dem i30N bin ich 100-200 15,5 Sekunden gefahren, mit dem ST DSG 16,8 Sekunden.

is not, never ever on a track you will reach 200km/h+ in a road legal car. THIS is made for fun on twisty roads, tracks and not for top speed.
So cruising at 200km/h with the lowest RPM in the highest gear makes really good sense.

@@leo4951 That's because you don't live in a country where there is real race tracks... like Le Mans, Magny Cours, Dijon Prenois, Paul Ricard (Le Castellet)... I have a Ford Focus RS Mk3, and hopefully the gear ratio is better than this automatic disaster...

I have a focus mk 3 with a manual gearbox, and it's ratios in 5th and 6th are shit. You can reach the top speed in both gears, which is just plain wrong...

Mountune have a simple tune for this model that unleashes around 330bhp and around 550nm of torque.
Costs just £600 for it in the UK. Just a simple ecu hardware tune, nothing else required. Turns this car into a different beast.

Yeah I switched back to factory ECU temporarily to compare the difference. It's like a completely different car. Felt very slow and sluggish. Mountune m330 is amazing.

Many comments criticizing its long fifth gear... But those comments do not take consideration that we're talking about a middle class hatchback... A few years ago, cars like these wouldn't reach these speeds. These speeds were only typical of expensive supercars... Yes, it's not a Porsche, but it is way more cheap. 250 kph on a car like this? It's fast.

I drive everyday from town to town on the Autobahn. I am a fast driver, but over 200 kmh are a risk, because there are also very slow trucks, busses and cars with little engines on the Autobahn. You have to be careful with all these possible impacts. Sometimes they do not see you coming from behind and change the track!

@@waduhek2568 5th gear is bad, But the Fiesta wouldn't be faster due to the lower weight though. With the previous genarations, the fiesta ST was almost 2seconds slower than the focust ST to 100. I was actually surprised that the Fiesta ST was so slow for a small car

It kept on the 5th gear because he was full throttle and the car was struggling to get faster. If he was backing up a bit, the 6th would have kicked in.

100 to 200 takes 17 seconds, my mk4 focus with 190hp does that in 22 seconds, reaches 230+ km/h. Weird
Where did you get the tune from? Are you happy?
Without software I drove 265 km/h speedometer. With software I filled the speedometer 280 km/h
This one has much longer gears than my 2014. 5th gear is the same as 6th gear in mine -- turns about 3K RPM at 80MPH. I bet my fuel consumption would be better if the revs were lower at highway speeds.

How the hell Ford made an automatic gearbox like this??? This gearbox has a very stupid configuration and makes the car slower than with the manual. I like Ford and especially the ST, but this with the automatic is really annoing ... 😠

I own this car and I drove it 267 kms with no tuning. Weird? And it could go even faster but i couldnt due to safety reasons
