I love the way you define your wet hair. I don’t shingle either, just run my fingers through it as you do which was reassuring that I’m not the “only one” who doesn’t shingle.

My absolute favorite thing about your hair videos is how calm they are, yet motivating. I have a very similar texture to you. Which watching you sometimes motivates me to get up ,and wash my hair. I usually have a schedule of washing my hair once a week. But on really long weeks I watch some of your videos and I get motivated to see my fresh curls! I also absolutely love your bathroom design so simplistic, yet stylish in a way which is how I’d like my future bathroom to be. First of all…HAPPY FREAKING SOLAR RETURN!!🎉🎂🥳I have followed you for some time, from your big chop, to growing it out, to cutting it again with a design on the side I believe you had. Now it’s grown back out it seems overnight! I love the fact that you give a detailed reviews, as well as the pros & cons of the products! It’s also soothing & relaxing to watch you do your hair. Then reality kicks in cause I just started wearing my natural hair & would love to experience this gel cause I’ve had repeated failed attempts at wash n go’s. But, I’m hearing great things about this one & would love to experience it!

I’m also an OG subbie and I’ve always loved the fact that everything you use on your hair works on mine 😂 we have the similar textures and porosity is the same so I don’t have to do the hard work of finding what works for me- you always do it for us ❤ lol
I love the definition the gel gave your curls.
It looks like it captured your definition really well. You could trim in a stretched/blown out state (so you don't miss split ends) and then shape it curly. I got my hair shaped recently and when I told her I was growing my hair out she decided not to cut the back so now I have a mullet instead of the round shape I usually go for 😢
My favorite thing about your content has changed over time since I initially found your videos while we were growing our hair out at the same time and it was motivating. I also just enjoy watching your content in general and how you are comfortable doing what you want. I cut my hair again a year ago and kept going back and fourth between cutting it or growing it out but your videos were part of what encouraged me to just enjoy my hair however i wanted it to be (...i cut it because i was tired of doing it at the time)

Me and wash n go’s are a no! I love seeing them on others but on me they don’t look right. I love how you take your time to explain each step of the process oh and I wondered what leave in conditioner would you have used? I’ve commented on several of your posts about your hair shape❤️ you thought it wasn’t good but I still love it!
