Welcome Back to my channel and yes, another Wash and Go featuring the Doux 808 Base Gel and the Texture Foam!! 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Let me give an informal rating now 💁🏽‍♀️
Scent: 10/10
Affordability: 10/10
Where to purchase: 10/10 ---- they are found in Target, Walmart, CVS, Sally Beauty, JC Penny, and a few other locations.. 😱👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Non Irritating Ingredients: 10/10
Shine: 10/10 (and I didn't need the oil for the shine 👌🏽)
I'm on Day 3 and my hair is still amazing so...
Hold: 10/10
Bounce: 10/10
Ease of Use: 👀 10/10
That also depends on if you're used to doing w&g's and if you're used to using a botanical gel 😌
I'm not lying when I said I KNEW these would work for me. I already had some experience with Pattern so this was a QUICK and EASY switch for me. 💁🏽‍♀️

I said the same thing 🤣🤣
But I wanted to try this brand for so long. I’m so happy I did and used the mousse with it. And I still have my wash and go in right now 🤯 This makes day 7. I misted my hair with a little water, and threw my bonnet on 😉

@@gentlestormwyatt oh wow that’s amazing! I’ve tried that mousse with the big poppa gel and it dried out my hair. I’m definitely going to re-try the mousse with the base gel at some point🙌🏽

Here’s a tip. I wash and deep condition (with heat) before most of my wash and gos. Since these are gel and mousse products, they can dry your hair out if you’re not doing the necessary steps before and after a w&g. I also try to do a different style in between a few w&g’s. Braids and twists are my fav way in between w&g styling. I really hope this helps. Thank you for watching curl friend. 💕🫶🏽🩷✨

Oh no. How are you prepping before the stylers? 👀 that could be one factor for the dryness. Another could be that you have a dry texture (like me) and with dryer textures, we have to reset the hair (washing/co-washing) and adding moisture back into the hair.
So instead of waiting a week, maybe once you feel your hair getting dry, it’s time to restyle. 💗💗 I’m going to do a video on this soon. But thanks for watching curl friend. 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
