  • @muziwenhlanhladlamini4990

    It would have been a politically strategic move for the ANC not to oust President Zuma prior to the election. Such an action could risk significant defections of party members aligning with Zuma, potentially bolstering the MK Party. A considerable faction within the ANC remains loyal to Zuma and holds reservations about President Ramaphosa, even within the National Executive Committee (NEC) and the top echelons of leadership. Premature expulsion of Zuma might lead to a substantial loss of support for the ANC in the upcoming elections.

    • @zukai9733
      @zukai9733 Před 29 dny +1

      If there is any aligned to Zuma they have shown their face right now, the ANC has internal process for deviant behavior. Zuma needs to be held to the same standard as the rest.

    • @muziwenhlanhladlamini4990
      @muziwenhlanhladlamini4990 Před 29 dny

      @@zukai9733 It is evident that there are internal protocols in place, yet it would have been prudent for the party to await the electoral process before initiating disciplinary measures. Premature expulsion could potentially result in significant voter attrition. Given Zuma's unparalleled popularity compared to other party members, the ANC faces the risk of substantial electoral losses if they move forward with expulsion prior to elections. There exists a segment of the electorate sympathetic to Zuma, who may align themselves with his MK Party in the event of his expulsion. Moreover, a considerable number of ANC affiliates might defect to the MK Party, drawn by their allegiance to Zuma and his perceived radicalism akin to that of Hhani.

    • @zukai9733
      @zukai9733 Před 29 dny

      @@muziwenhlanhladlamini4990 why would the ANC allow the organization to be held at ransom by an individual. It is irrelevant whether or not they expel Zuma as he not campaigning for the ANC and they cannot guarantee themselves any allegiance from the individual aligned to Zuma. They should have done this a long ago, Zuma has always been their Achilles tendon and it made them weaker in all elections since Polokwane. As big or small the segment that loves Zuma, maybe, it still gives the ANC the benefit of campaigning from a stronger ethical point if they do not tiptoe around the Zuma issue or bend their ethics to his whims. My judgment is that the electoral victory of the ANC hinges on the proportion of the voter turnout on 29 May 2024 and not on whether or not Zuma has huge support or not.

      @koolerkool8008 Před 28 dny

      Trust me, ANC will expel Zuma and go ahead to win the election.Ruling parties know to how maneuver difficulties....Zuma is one person, this is second electoral sabotage of Ramaphosa, he tried with ATM and that didn't work in 2019.Equally this will too, won't work believe you me...His invisible game plan is trying to get back in government for amnesty protection against the arms deal corruption case but too won't turn out to be in his favor. Because immediately he enters parliament they will impeach him since he has a criminal record which reaffirm soon when they would correct the electoral court judicial error in their order to stand for election with a criminal record. I hope you understand what I driving at with my post
