Truly a nice day on the lake. Good catching. I always release Trout even on the rare times I want fish for dinner: they don't taste that good to me compared to other fish. The spinner looks very similar to a Panther Martin which I'll bet would work as well. I'll have to try it with those and the red and gold spoons I use on hike-in lakes in the High Sierra ( I don't remember the name and the maker went out of business several years ago, but I am using them until I lose them all because they work consistently). ;-)
I enjoy Trout on the campfire every now and then but I typically release as well. I use a Red and Gold Spoon for Trout quite often too, one called a Little Cleo, but they were not having it that day. My buddy was on fire so I borrowed one of his which was a good move. Thanks for watching!
Out West with Chris we actually packed up and camped on the lake. Two great days and the “Blue Fox” was a huge success!!! My wife never changed it out and whomped me!
I was skunking and then my buddy let me borrow a Blue Fox Vibrax is bright Orange. That lure and then a pretty deliberately slow retrieve seemed to do the trick.

We rented a pontoon out there today!!! Awesome lake. We are gonna Yak it on Saturday.
