- A lot of beginners are wondering if they should buy a standart acoustic guitar or if they should invest a little bit more and get a model with electronics.

I have an acoustic electric guitar. If I record using the pickup inside of guitar, will other unnecessary noises being recorded along with the melody sound?

You have explained the differences very nicely. I was checking out videos to understand which guitar (acoustic or semi-acoustic) best suits my need for vocal recordings and I must say your explanation is crisp and to the point.
The most interesting thing about the Acoustic-Electric is that if you're running FX through the Guitar, you get a sound that you just can't get out of a Standard Solid Body Electric becuse the Acoustic Woodieness is being mixed in with the FX.

Some Acoustic-Electrics have a built in tuner which make them easier to keep in tune.
The Piezo Pickup makes recording easier plus it makes the natrual sound of the Guitar even larger. The Piezo Pickup picks up the natrual sound of the Guitar from the Vibrations of the Wood. Another unique thing about Acoustic-Electric Guitars is that they're designed to feel like Electric Guitars beause the body is smaller, the neck is skinnier, the strings are thinner, & the action is lower.

I feel like, unless you're regularly performing, pure acoustic is the better option long term. I've seen people with acoustic-electric who removed the electronics (I presume because they stopped working) and it left the guitar with a hole at the top and it looks weird. Not to mention the tonal differences that would make.

I think the Acoustic-Electric (just like an Electric Guitar) might be more beginner friendly cause they're much bigger in versatility & the cut away facilitates good technique.
Without plugging in, does both guitars sound the same? Cause I saw a video where the sound was very very different.
@@mahzabinnaruse7642 The Cutaway gives it a different sound even w/ the Piezo Pickup. Piezo Pickups make the natural sound of the Guitar bigger by picking up the vibrations of the wood.
The Beatles have used a Gibson J160E & it's the most over looked Acoustic-Electric Guitar. The Gibson J160E has a P-90 Feedback Free Single Coil Pickup:czcams.com/video/OTDly9cgzcU/video.html & the sound it produces when plugged into an amp is what you're hearing on almost all Beatles Albums so it's great for playing Beatles Covers.

It was the first guitar I was looking for by myself and I eventually ended up getting the fender fa-135ce for $200. It was a pretty good guitar for the price

I'm assuming for busking performances? An acoustic-electric guitar allows you to plug into a portable amp.
